Ottimo hotel . Troppo distante dal centro

Hotel bellissimo ,personale gentilissimo , rimane distante circa 30 minuti a piedi dal centro , in una zona tranquilla per riposare e uscire dalla confusione

Great location for a walking tourist!

Posted 09-Apr-2015
Pros: One side of the hotel, facing the courtyard, was quiet. Most guests were quiet. The foyer, a sea of chairs and only 1 TV, was good for reading.
Cons: Eliminate the space between the bottom of the door and the threshold to prevent noise from coming right under the door.
Location: Eat at BIBIS CAFE (9 to 4:30 pm) for breakfast, lunch or tea. Superb! Tour Charles Beatty Library, the Gaity Theatre, and take DART to Bray and hike
We found the hotel a good location for our walks into Dublin. We visited museums, Trinity College Dublin, and our son's apartment which was close to the hotel. It was a bit quieter than the Temple Bar area and good value for the cost. We were disappointed that the swimming pool was often closed at 7 or 7:30 pm each evening, making it impossible for our younger son to enjoy the swim after a day of touring. Bummer. We found the breakfast to be fair but not exemplary in quality.

An Easter break with 1 child.

We felt the room was too small for a family room. Also asked 3 times to have someone please come and turn the heater off in the room. One lady from house keeping came, and could not do it. Called down again twice!!!! No one came ...it was ridiculous!!!

Rooms very dated.

Posted 07-Apr-2015
Pros: Reception staff
Cons: Rooms
Location: Not that close to centre.
Room was massive in terms of space but carpet, bathroom and furniture needs to be refreshed. Quite old.

Good location

Posted 30-Mar-2015
Pros: The location
Cons: May be a little bit more choice for vegetarians in the Restaurant.
Location: Good location and within walking distance of all amenities.
Wasn't too sure of the area, but how wrong was I. The hotel is situated within easy reach of everything, whether walking, riding, taxi, tram or bus. A really good hotel with all the amenities and help you want. Food a little on the pricey side, but that wasn't a problem as within walking distance of the many, many restaurants Dublin has to offer. Will definitely be looking to stay again for my next break away to Dublin. The room was exceptionally clean and all the staff were very helpful and friendly.

A little ways from city center

Posted 24-Mar-2015
Nice hotel, could use a little updating. The rooms are bigger than other hotels I've stayed in in Dublin, so that was nice. Have to take a taxi to/from the airport as other transportation is not convenient. Nice pub nearby. I would stay here again.

Great value hotel in a good location

Posted 19-Mar-2015
Having never been to Dublin before didn't really know 100% where the best place to stay was, but I'm happy to say I'm glad we booked here. Found the hotel quite easily having got the shuttle from the airport (which is also only €15 return each) the staff were very polite and helpful, the room was much larger than expected and very clean. The hotel is only about 10 minutes walk into the heart of all the touristy stuff which we were quite glad of as we arrived on St Patrick's Day and the heart of town was absoloutely crazy!! Overall a great hotel for a really reasonable price. Will stay here again when next in Dublin.
