“The mighty have fallen”
What a disappointment! This used to be a lovely hotel. Clearly they are running it down in its last dying days. There were electrical sockets hanging off the wall. They put us in a standard room as they didn't realise we had booked an executive king. They then moved us because the room was freezing, to another room that they said had two queen size beds in it, as it turned out it was one double size. They clearly have no idea what is in each room. At the end of the second night, we had to leave the bar as the person serving us was down right rude. I have never complained on a site like this before, but this really was the worst hotel stay ever!
“A very pleasanr and comfortable hotel with lively bar”
Very helpful and friendly hotel, reasonably price and convenient to Dublin centre no hesitation in recomending it.
“Nice Local Pub O'briens Old and Unchanged for over 100 Years”
6th Floor really nice gym and Cafe / tea room.
“Low cost”
This was not a 4 star hotel, as advertised. Our room was not air conditioned, however we did receive a small fan when we requested one. Even though temperatures were mild, our 7th floor room got very stuffy with a west window that only cracked open at the top by tilting in. Pillows were flat as pancakes. Hair dryer would not stay on unless you held the button continuously. Apparently the 6th floor was much nicer, perhaps the 6th floor was '4 star', but they also wanted a lot more euros to stay on that floor. For the price, don't expect resort quality as a 4 star would give in the states.
“Nice spot easy walk to action”
The Ragus show was terrifiic, the rooms are quite nice and food is good
“Good price”
Was only there for 24 hours but would recommend this to others. Would stay there again if I'm on Dublin again! Thanks!
“Very Nic”
Staff was fantastic and helpful. Convenient location. Would highly recommend.
“Popular hotel”
Central and very popular.
“Burlington Dublin”
Hotel was very comfortable and convenient. We cannot offer much insight about the restaurant. We only ate one meal there: Sun brunch. That was fine. We had only one unfortunate experience. When we booked, we asked for early check-in, knowing that we would be arriving after overnight transatlantic flight with little sleep. Hotel advised during booking that they were fully booked on the evening before, and may not be able to accommodate. Upon arrival, we had to wait for several hours. Nothing the hotel staff could do, and they did warn us in advance, so all that is OK. It's just unfortunate.
“Needs some improvement”
Reveiwed as above. No air conditioning so room very very hot. Kettle broken and reported 3 times but never fixed. Asked that curtains be left closed when room being serviced to reduce heat but it was always ignored. Staff at reception not terribly friendly. Very noisey on our first two nights as there was poker championship on. Location is excellent and lovely little cafes near by and also a couple of nice pubs..
