“Excellent value”

The hotel is just outside the borders of the airport, a very short trip to the terminals. The facility is very nice, clean, and well maintained. My only complaint would be that the airport shuttle runs only twice per hour.

“Great hotel great location.”

This hotel is close to the Dublin Airport and the suttle only costs 1 euro to get to the airport. It was the best hotel we stayed at during our visit to Ireland and Scotland.

Area recommendations

“Inexpensive Dublin Airport Hotel”

Typical airport hotel. Rooms were clean and reasonably spacious. Price was great. Restaurant was terrible. 10 minute ride to airport. Offers shuttle service to Airport every half hour at 1 Euro per rider. Free lobby wireless but charge for in room connection. Staff was friendly and helpful. There are dozens of hotels near DUB. This, like the others, are fine only if you are flying out early.

“Comfortable and Convenient to Dublin Airport”

Premier Inn was a pleasant surprise and so reasonable. It was very comfortable, clean, and the furnishings were up to date. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were looking for a hotel that was convenient to the airport. The shuttle bus was right on time and dropped us off and picked us up right at the front door.

Area recommendations
Trinity College has a beautiful campus. The Book of Kells is a must see. Be sure and visit the Trinity Old Library. The National Museum has so many interesting things to see, Grafton St. is the place to shop and people watch, and don't miss the Music Pub Crawl starting at Gogarty's Pub. The music is outstanding and Anthony and Eugene are great musicians and they keep everyone laughing.

“Fantastic hotel”

We stayed here at the end of our 2 week driving journey through Ireland because of how close it is to the airport. We pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the extreme helpfulness of the staff. For the last place we stayed it was fantastic because it felt like an American hotel with AC. LOL. The staff directed us to Swords main street to find something to eat because we wanted more atmosphere then the restaurant on location had. It was short 15 minute walk and loved the area. We ordered a cab upon check in for 3:45am and the cab was waiting for us at 3:40. Great place, people and rooms. Highly recommend it. And if you have time walk to Swords mainstreet. Great area.

“Nice room after a long day of travel!”

We had traveled all day, and wanted a nice quiet place for our last night in Dublin. We opened the room door and our prayers were answered! However, we were surprised to be charged 2 euros for the shuttle to the hotel, since most hotel shuttles are free. The restaurant is convenient with excellent service also.

Area recommendations
We enjoyed the hop on hop off bus for the first day and saw many of the churches, and monuments, and better understood the history of the city. Don't miss the Museum of History ...also a great place to have lunch. The Temple Bar area is a wonderful, quirky place to wonder and lots of restaurant choices for a bowl of Irish stew! We decided to take a tour into the countryside, which was beautiful, and we learned about their reservoir system (very interesting design by Germans and Swiss) and we saw the quiet, off the beaten track areas where Daniel Day Lewis and Bono lived. A visit -hike to a national park which included old monastery ruins rounded out another wonderful day in Ireland.

“Convenient to the airport”

While the best aspect of this hotel was its convenience to the airport, there isn't much else to brag about here. The rooms were clean but bare bones. The lobby was extremely crowded. After 5:30pm there were no restaurants open within walking distance of the hotel. The parking for regular patrons of the hotel was limited to about 25 spaces, while the rest of the parking lot was reserved for those leaving their cars for the duration of their vacations. Not the worst place that I have ever stayed, but not high on my list of recommendations.

Area recommendations
Stayed at the Ashling Hotel in Dublin when we first arrived in Ireland. A very comfortable and welcoming hotel. Also, convenient to the tram line for visiting the city.
