Good central location

Posted 29-Jul-2015
Pros: Within walking distance of many attractions
Cons: decor in Breakfast area
Location: Convenient to shopping areas and other places of interest. LUAS tram line just round the corner in St Stephen's Green.
Hotel was convenient to Retail shopping area and centre of city. Room we had was street facing and traffic noise was constant throughout the night. Otherwise it was good standard albeit breakfast area seating etc needed refurb.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. The staff are absolutely wonderful! We arrived about 5 hours before check in time (2:00 pm), and they went out of their way to get us a room within 2 hours. The location is great! We were right across from Steven's Green, and only a few blocks from Graftin St. There are many wonderful pubs, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. There are also 3 hop-on busses within a couple of blocks. Overall, everyone at the hotel were very accommodating. We would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel ok

Posted 21-Jul-2015
Pros: Staff were very helpful.
Cons: Bedroom could do with a makeover
Location: Very central, perhaps too central for a Saturday night.
Hotel very central right on St. Stephen's Green. Shower did not work. Air conditioning did not seem to work properly, though that might have been us! Consequently we slept with the room open. Being a Saturday night it was very noisy, particularly with taxis.

Nice hotel but did not feel like a 4 star

Nice hotel, the reception staff are a credit to the hotel.did not have a 4 star feel however, could do with a refurb as the decor is quite dated.

Excellent

Posted 25-Jun-2015
Pros: See above
Cons: I can't think of anything that could have been better
Location: See above
The location, next to the park, is the best location in the city. It is close to everything, including the hop-on hop-off bus stop. The staff was wonderful and efficient. We arrived quite early and was given a room right away -- thank you so much. The room was the best room we had in the 10 days we were in Ireland. I wish we would have stayed here every day of our vacation.

Good hotel near to St Stephens Greem

Posted 27-May-2015
Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: Bathrooms were looking a bit tired.
Location: Location was great. Sightseeing bus stops nearby as well as museums and Trinity College. Excellent location.
Hotel was in a good location that wasn't far from the main attractions including Grafton street and the Temple Bat area. It took around 10 minutes to walk to Trinity college and the Temple Bar area where there were plenty of restaurants. Hotel staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and in reasonable condition.

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage

Posted 19-May-2015

Pleasant hotel opposite St Stephen's Green

Posted 11-May-2015
Pros: The friendly, helpful staff, the location & the large comfortable beds.
Location: Away from the bustle of Temple Bar but easily walkable. Grafton Street was only a 3 or 4 minute walk. The air coach bus stopped nearby.
Weekend break near the centre but away from the bustle. The hotel lived up to its description. We arrived to check in after midnight but were nevertheless warmly welcomed and were served with excellent Guiness in the Magic Glasses Bar.
