Brilliant weekend in the Four Seasons which was beautifully decorated for Christmas, fabulous trees and a handmade gingerbread house in the foyer. Staff are superb, their attention to detail is meticulous. Our room on the 4th floor had excellent facilities, was spacious and spotlessly clean, it had a lovely view of the Aviva Stadium. Breakfast was a veritable feast, we enjoyed a freshly cooked Full Irish breakfast with a wide selection of fruits and cereals. The Four seasons never disappoints - everything was five star as usual. However, we regret that the hotel will be under new management from 31/12/14, we just hope the new owners will continue to uphold the luxury, relaxing haven that has been synonymous with The Four Seasons.
Had a fabulous stay at the Conrad with my mum and 4 year old son. Upon arrival our room wasn't ready do we had complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby. The very helpful concierge helped organise tickets for singalong frozen- best seats in the house, it was fab. Room initially smelt strange so we asked to move which was no problem and done quickly. We had a great time at the Contad, milk and cookies were left for my son while we had chocolate coated strawberries that evening. Everything for my son was complimentary
We arrived late on a Friday evening for a 2 night stay in November 2014. I had not stayed there before and the hotel was much more spacious and attractive than I was expecting with a spacious lobby area and attentive service from friendly receptionists. The hotel was humming with activity but we were able to get parking in the spacious carpark without difficulty. We assumed as the hotel was full that we would hear lots of late night revellers and early risers but had an undisturbed sleep in what was obviously a very soundproof and comfortable room. the room was a bit too cool but there was no delay in sending a staff member to sort out the temperature and unusually it was not too hot in the middle of the night as hotel rooms frequently are. Did not eat in the hotel - had drinks only in the bar so cannot comment on the food.
Beautiful castle hotel with a very commercial feel. If you want a quiet romantic castle stay I wouldn't recommend it. It is only a short taxi ride into the city. About 12-14 euro. Mostly a place where people stay on business trips.
We had a wonderful stay at Finnstown. The staff was warm and welcoming. We mentioned a small problem at breakfast and by the time we returned to our beautiful room, it was solved.
We ate breakfast each of the mornings we were there. On busy mornings, the entire breakfast was served buffet-style. Everything was delicious. On the days with fewer guests, the hot items were served to order. The hostess was helpful and offered advice for our touring. We would highly recommend Finnstown and would return if we are in the area again.
Lovely hotel with superb staff - willing to help in any way they can. Big choice of well cooked breakfasts, together with choice of juices, cereals, fresh fruit and pastries. Great view from our balcony. Within walking of Dart station at Dalkey with easy access to centre of Dublin. We visited at the beginning of December and the public spaces were beautiful decorated and some roaring fires. Will definitely stay again.
An absolutely beautiful hotel. Staff are really polite and show an interest in how your stay is going. It was December and cold , we went up to the rooftop just to have a look. There were heating lamps , blankets and hot water bottles to keep you warm. We sat and had a drink and it was lovely. The breakfast was lovely , my only criticism would be the evening meal , a little pricey and the menu isn't great. But I'm sure the hotel could very easily rectify this. The lunch time menu and food was lovely too. Nibbles were bought with your drinks in the bar area which was welcome.
The pool and spa is very nice , clean and has a very relaxing ambience. The treatments and massage were great.
To sum it up its a beautiful hotel that's pretty much got it all going on for a treat away in a lovely city.
