Short break

Posted 18-May-2015
Pros: The staff were brilliant. Everyone was friendly, approachable and helpful when needed.
Cons: All I can think of - "firmer pillows" to be made available!!
Location: Admittedly it is a good walk into the city centre but the taxi rank is right outside and is very cheap to use.
This hotel was fabulous. Recently refurbished and it looks amazing. Very comfortable indeed.

i enjoyed my stay from check-in to check-out.

Posted 30-Apr-2015
Pros: everything. it was so wonderful. my room was so large. usually UK and European hotel rooms are small but this was something different. loved it.
Cons: more sun-shine
Location: bus right out side, taxie right out side and the air-port coach stops right out front. St. Stephens Green was walkable to get Hop-on buses.
the desk people were very helpful. i arrived early and my room was ready. the cookie was the CHARM!!. every-one was nice, i felt as if i had come home. the weather was rainey and somewhat cold, but i came prepared. the bus drivers and taxi cabs people were soooo nice. i will bw back again and again.

great place to stay

Posted 26-Apr-2015
Cons: breakfast warmer
the only problem was it took us ages to find it. The breakfast could be warmer, but other than that, spotless, staff very nice and modern.

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff

Posted 08-Mar-2015
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms.
Location: 2 fab restaurants called Canal Bank and The Farm
Liked this hotel, it was a taxi ride or 15 min walk from town. Taxi's were around 10 euro's. Had my 80 year old mum with me so felt the hotel was ideal as it was not in the noisy, busy town.

handy for our stay

Posted 03-Mar-2015
Pros: all very good, frank the concierge was excellent.
Cons: the manager needs to think about other clients.
Location: don't know we were visiting family.
the only problem i had was that the manager was totally rude, the fact that he pushed passed me to get to another guest whom was having a function at the hotel, must have been spending a few euro's at the hotel!!

A Reasonable Hotel

Posted 28-Feb-2015
Pros: Close Proximity to Dublin City Centre without the City Centre Premium Rates.
Cons: Rooms on the 5th Floor have no radiators or means of warming up - bar a small portable electric radiator. Not good really for the price of the room!
Location: 15 Minute walk from Grafton Street and Saint Stephens Park, A lovely Cafe Bar Restaurant (Canal Bank Cafe) whereby the Food is Excellent value.
A reasonable Hotel thats about 15 minute walk from Grafton Street. The rooms were spacious and in very good condition and the beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are Spotless. However, avoid any room on the 5th Floor - a recent refurbishment has omitted any heating (radiator or thermostat controlled temperature heating system). So the rooms will be colder. The other rooms are fine. The hotel Reception Staff are friendly upon greeting and departure and very helpful. One Bar Staff Member was a bit rude, but thats probably due to lack of training and experience. It was an issue over a Bar tab where the Bar Person blurted out "You have no credit on your card account tied to your room". Made it loud enough so that other patrons could hear that statement. Idiot. There was nothing wrong with the Card tied to my room. He could have double checked without going into "Animation".
