“Blooms blooms”
Went for a mini vacation with the girlfriend and overall had a pleasant stay. The only real qualms we had were that on the nights we stayed there were only 3 rooms left and the room we got was a miniaturized version of what was shown online. It was a very cramped room. The hotel staff said it was not a normal sized room, but who knows. Also we found the hotel staff to be a bit lacking of knowledge about the overall area. I talked to a bunch of different hotel front desk staff and almost all of the questions I asked was met with little or no help, it was almost comical. Not rude, just not helpful. Other than that, it is in a prime location in the Temple Bar district. A lot of the touristy sites are well within walking distance. Staying near Temple Bar wasn't too loud, but you will hear the occasional drunks yelling and rambling in the middle of the night. Also the "Occupy Dublin" crowd is occupying the Bank of Ireland, which is right around the corner. All in all though, it is a good bang for the buck. If you are trying to stay in a nice, clean, cheap hotel, this is a great place. Had a nice stay.
“Short trip”
This was a very short trip. I think the hotel was in a great place. Close to everything. You can walk in any direction and find food, bars, shops. It's close to the canal and bridges. I think it is in an excellent location.
“Lovely stay, great location”
Centrally located, friendly staff. The only down fall was not having tea or coffee facilities in the room others everything was great.
“can't wait to go back”
great locaton, within walking distance to everything. employees very helpful. would recommend to anyone
“right in the middle of everything”
clean and comfortable, great base for exploring.
“Don't go barefoot here!”
The staff were friendly. The hotel is in a great location, and has a nice pub with delicious food adjacent to it. There are lots of stairs to climb, even after taking the elevator up. The bed and bathroom were spotless. My beef is that I have never stayed in any motel or hotel that had carpet that had as many stains as my room's carpet did. It was awful!
“Good location for pub crawling”
Blooms hotel is a simple clean hotel in Temple Bar. Its not quite a block from all the Temple Bar action which is a blessing if you want to sleep. Great location. Close enough to all the pub action but just far enough away to not have crowds on the street. We arrived from the airport by the airport bus, very convenient. Good restaurants very near. We had two rooms with a family of 5 including childrens ages 15, 19, and 21. Both rooms were clean and had plenty of room. Lots of street entertainment very close. We'd stay here again.
“Great location !”
The staff and location of this hotel couldn't have been better for our needs. We also recommend the food at the downstairs pub.
“Good hotel”
This hotel has a fantastic location. It is right in the middle of a ton of pubs, restaurants, and a shot walk from a ton of places to shop. Hotel was okay. But the location makes up for it by far.
“I loved this hotel.”
Blooms hotel was in the perfect location for all of the things that I wanted to see and do while I was in Dublin. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I would absolutely stay with them again.

Area:
Temple Bar - Dublin Castle, Dublin, Ireland: This small enclave by the river was developed into Dublins Cultural Quarter in the 1980s, and soon became the citys nightlife centre. Temple Bar is still devoted to eating, drinking, entertainment, and shopping. By day, its an arty alternative hangout; by night, groups of partying tourists make it a rowdier haunt. Near the famous Hapenny Bridge, Merchants Arch retains some of the areas atmosphere from a century or so ago.
