“Best Western Academy Plaza - The best stay in Dublin!”
AMAZING from start to finish!
“Premier status well deserved”
First ever stay in a Best Western Hotel and we were very impressed...the reception staff were so friendly and helpful. One downside was the seating in the Bistro Bar?restaurant....the chairs were not conducive to comfortable eating,ie.too low in relation to table height. However food was excellent.Would recommend this venue without a doubt.
“good hotel”
very good hotel in every respect, very central nice food.
“Highly Recommended”
Perfect location just off O'Connell Street. Superb value for money, very well looked after and would certainly use again.
“Great Location”
Right at the top of o'Connell street, within very easy walking distance of all the sights. I only booked a single room but i was upgraded (without even asking). Clean & comfortable, perfect. i like the extra security of having to use your room key to access the lifts, so you knew there were no 'unwelcome' guests roaming the floors. Free Wfi was really useful too. Had breakfast, a bit overpriced even at the special rate of 9.99 (had to book on the day of arrival for each day), Have already recommended it to friends & I'd stay here again.
“best western dublin”
all round excellent hotel for short break, cannot fault location (30 seconds from oconnell street) and nothing but praise for all aspects of hotel,
“Scottish Lass”
Great hotel and fantastic location. would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in the city centre. The room i had was very spacious and clean. The sanitary room had a 3 pc bath suite which was also very clean.
“Very happy with the hotel”
Great location, and helpful staff. The rooms are big (to be European) and good sized bathroom.
“We could not have chosen better.”
From immediate checking in at an early hour, to collecting our baggage late in the final day, we were very impressed. The room was clean, comfortable and well set out, and the different restaurants in the hotel of good quality and value. Best of all, the site is ideal for access to tours, train, tram and bus services, and all the best city sites were within easy walking distance. We would gladly return, and that is the best recommendation any guest can make.
“Dublin's most convenient hotel”
This hotel is in one of the best locations in the city and across the road, you can get the Dublin City tour bus which was excellent. Around the corner you can get the AirCoach to the airport which was very easy. Hotel staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very comfortable with all the facilities you would expect but the toiletries were not replaced each day and my wife discovered a used shower cap stuffed back in the original box which smelt unpleasant.

Area:
City Center North, Dublin, Ireland: The heart of this area is broad bustling OConnell Street with its many monuments and grand buildings. Most famous is the General Post Office, the Republicans headquarters during the 1916 Easter Rising. The surrounding streets have a more local feel than south of the river but still include some fine Georgian buildings and important attractions, including The Hugh Lane (Dublin City) Gallery, the Dublin Writers Museum and the James Joyce Centre.
