“Great Position”

Just off O'Connell Street, within easy walking distance of most of the attractions of the city (including Temple Bar).

“Not too bad but...”

I went there on a business trip and it really isn't a hotel suited to business travellers. Its would have been fine had I been going there with a bunch of lads for a weekend's drinking!

“You get what you pay for.”

You cannot beat the hotel's location in the city. It is very close to everything in Dublin. The hotel is very run down, although it was kept clean. If you do not plan on spending a lot of time in your room, and you just want a place to sleep and shower, then I strongly recommend this hotel.

“not impressed”

it was not a typical irish hotel as there were no irish staff and you would expect at least a smile or a good morning the room was very noisy from kitchen extractors that were on all night and the heating was on all night despite the weather being warm we would definatley go back to dublin but not to that hotel

“Interrupted Nights”

at both 3am and 5am during one of my nights there the fire alarm went off numerous times and had many people awake, panicking and collecting their valuables. but when i went to reception, in shock, at 3am, they merely said that it sometimes happens when somebody showers. so if you want a guarenteed nights sleep, i would avoid this place. for all it's positives, that night, and the response from the staff, means that i shall not be returning.

“Great location. Kinda noisy.”

Expect to be able to hear the bass from the clubs at the street level on the weekend. The actual hotel and rooms are nice enough given the price level. The location is what makes this place - close to Temple Bar.

“Sleepless night”

This hotel would be great for young couples or friends who like clubbing as you are 2 doors up from the Academy and Spirit This is not a family hotel if you want a peaceful nights sleep!

“Not impressed”

Only hotel room I could find thanks to Obama's quest for his Guinness roots. It's very hard to find - the Abbey Hotel sign has disappeared, and now it has a Bar Name instead - it's just a doorway with the name on the door. Cheap and convenient, but not really what I was hoping for. Very dirty neighborhood. Room was clean. Wifi in the bar next door (part of the hotel). Problems finding my Expedia reservation, but eventually did.
