"This hotel was one of the most relaxing and beautiful locations. Perfect for those of you looking for R&R because it is a challenge to get around at Lake Como. "

"Included breakfast was excellent every single day of our stay. Best to pay the extra cost to get a lakeside room; not only for the view but also for the noise from the road right out front of the hotel. "
"The views here are stunning! Hotel offers a shuttle to it, highly recommend taking it. Walked up the mountain and I was dying by the end (even if the views were amazing)"
"Beautiful hotel with excellent 5 star service. You should know that the directions to arrive will direct you through narrow roads filled with pedestrians...that IS the correct route, just go very slowly through the people. We loved our stay there."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Montecodeno, while the room are basic, they were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is good, very close to the ferry port and train station. The buffet breakfast exceeded my expectations for such a small hotel. Matteo and the lady (who I didn't get the name of) at front desk were both really friendly and helpful, such as getting us an umbrella when it was raining without asking and giving us directions."
"Lovely hotel with easy access to the lake ferries. The back of the property is lakeside with lovely views. The pool is clean and warm, with plenty of sun loungers lining the area between the pool and lake. Breakfast was well organised, with plenty of choice. There is an outdoor eating area if you like alfresco dining. All staff were polite and friendly."

"Beautiful old palace / villa. Great views of the lake and very nice walking paths. Great wine cellar but the Junior Suite is a must. Very high cealings and roomy. A bit out of the way but absolutely charming. Great staff."
