“very nice hotel next to a building site!”

we returned from here in june 08.we only had a short stay of 4 nites.the hotel is great very clean safe and has lovely grounds.it was nice to be able to go straight onto the beach which is nice.the only downside is the building site next door which is very loud and dusty.you have to taxi everywhere from this part of town.luckily we only had a short stay but if this had been any longer i would have been dissapointed with the construction noise and sight out of our room window.

“An older but very classy hotel”

On arrival we were given a wonderful suprise as we were upgraded to a suite. The room was spacious and very well appointed. Throughout our stay the staff were absolutely brilliant and did everything possible to make our stay very special, from giving us wine on the house, reserving us sunbeds by the beach and many more small courtesies that added up to make the entire time a truly enjoyable experience. The food was also of an extremely high quality and we enjoyed every meal we had. The gardens, pool and beach are beautiful and a great place to truly unwind and relax. We will definitely be going back to this hotel on a regular basis. One other thing to commend it is its fantastic location right by Dubai Marina with its many shops and restaurants.

“Great Location, Great Service, Great Hotel”

We had a great time in Sheraton Jumeriah. Although we have arrived 08:00 in the morning, the receptionist was so kind to offer us a nice room straight away, we were in our room by 08:30 already relaxing. Throughout our stay, during this Xmas period, the hotel was beautifully decorated, classy, lively and very festive with carol siners, Xmas dinners & Lunch.. Cocktails on the beach, good food in the restaurant, sisha and moroccon tea in the arabic restaurant, drinks on the Bliss Beach Bar.. Overall, we have enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The service was always good and on time, staff is polite and make you feel welcome. Hotel's location is superb. Ideal for an evening walkby the Walk and the Marine which are only 5 minutes away, very lively. Private beach is a great plus. Leave everything at you room, just take your swimwear, Ipod and camera. Plenty of space on the beach and the gardens for sunbathing..beach towels provided, cocktails, food, sun, sea....nice...

“Best Hotel I've Ever Stayed In”

Very friendly, attentive and hard-working staff. Hotel is kept immaculate. The facilities are great, and the fact that it has a private beach is something that cannot be said about most other hotels in the area. Upon arrival your bags are taken up by the porters, and you are greeted with arabic coffee. Checking in is quick and hassle free, and I have never ever seen a queue for the reception. The main lobby is stunningly beautiful and very tranquil with indoor palm trees. The room we had was very clean and kept spotless daily, bed very comfy, chairs were also very cosy. The shower/sink all worked very well. Used room service twice - very quick and hassle-free. Chinese resturant had exceptional hospitality, Link Cafe had amazing range of unique ice-creams and smoothies (+free internet) and the pool bars (there are two) had a good selection of drinks and food. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. Also worth noting that the hotel never feels 'full' even though it probably is - theres just so much room for everyone, especially in the gardens around the pool, so it feels very relaxed and stress free. Overall. Exceptional.

“Great hotel, but please refurb the bathrooms!”

Great location in Jumeirah on the Marina Walk a few minutes walk from cafes & restaurants. The private beach is excellent as are the hotel grounds. Nice grassy area to sunbathe on if you don't like sand. Pool area is pretty nice and had a swim up bar. The room was a decent size and well equiped. The bathroom was a disappointment. The shower was poor - low pressure and the shower curtain had seen better days. The only other nagative would be the TV. Not many english speaking channels (only 2!) & sports channels compared to other Dubai hotels I've stayed in.

“Nice Hotel with some comments”

The main notes are: 1. Most of the low level floors do not view the sea or the pool, even if it's called sea view. 2. The rooms do not have openable windows, so no fresh air except through the AC 3. The food is not the best.

“great hotel for business travellers, less appealing for tourists.”

The Sheraton is a nice hotel and it seems to be managed well. Satff was extremely professional. The rooms are average sized, just what you'd expect from any international hotel chain. The floors are tiled, so it is very cold. The restaurant is probably a great place to conduct business meetings, it didn't look inviting. A great place to be is the outside buffet/restaurant. Very nice environment with open air cooking and serving. A very cosy atmosphere and the opportunity to try a waterpipe in the designated area. The Hotel beach is great, the gym average. It is the last hotel in a row so you feel like being in a dead end, there is no noise. Wherever you want to go you need a taxi (or a rental car). We used taxis all the time, not very expensive, very clean and reliable. Taximeters prevent fraud and we never had a bad experience with any driver. The hotel shuttle is not well planned out, they dropp you off but do not guarantee a ride back to the hotel.

“Good value for money -”

Still some minor building work ongoing in the area, but its a great location - hotel is human size and would recommend upgrade to Towers. Its clean, good food, great service but that is pretty common in Dubai.
