Situated centrally. Rooms are large and convenient. Near to shopping centre. Will certainly go back there.

staff are good to us. just opposite on what i read from comments. they are all very helpful. the room is spacious and clean. the person cleans the room on daytime made sure we have good linens and towels. we stayed at 4th floor, did not hear loud music at all. my niece visit us for a day, did not get charge extra. no hidden fees or taxes. walking distance from deira city center and shops. across the hotel are good restaurant, pharmacy, supermarket and internet cafe for $1.35 an hour. we enjoyed our stay in this hotel...

“solid hotel”

We were looking for a fairly economical hotel in Dubai. We were touring, so we did not spend much time there other than to sleep and have breakfast. The room was well appointed and comfortable. They were a little chintzy on the drinking water...only the bottle outside the mini-fridge was free. Incurred a minor charge on that. Breakfast was OK. Only coffee available was Turkish coffee at an extra charge. That was OK. Other hotels have Nescafe (not my favorite). The price we got from Expedia was a real deal. You will not walk in off the street and get that price. Staff was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel if you are travelling and want to see the sights, not spend the day in the hotel (we never used the pool)

Good Hotel However Disco runs every night till 3am We had a room on the Second floor first night and the noise was rediculous. No soundproofing !!!! Staff changed us next day no problems. Rest of the stay was on the fifth floor noise was muffled.

“Hotel Mayfair Dubai - BYO Taxi”

Congratulations to the Mayfair Hotel for being the most difficult to find, get to and get away from hotel in Dubai. No taxi's ever go passed the place and although the bellboys have relationships with a myriad of local drivers most are smelly, untrustworthy and expensive. The poor transport too and from this hotel is guaranteed to frustrate your stay.

“Not recommended for a stop over”

We had booked this hotel as a stop over hotel to sleep for a few hours with the criteria being close to the airport, had a shuttle bus, was clean and relaxing. All I can say is that it was relatively close to the airport - it did not have a shuttle bus, the room was not clean (including the sheets) and the live music in the foyer boomed until 4.30am in the morning. I would not recommend this hotel for a stop over.
