“Perfect 'stop over' hotel”
This hotel is just 5 mins from Dubai airport, but once you are inside the beautiful gardens and pool areas you would think you are beach side. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the standard is high. the room was adequate and very comfortable, the reception area very pleasing, and the pool areas were very tranquil. We used this hotel as a stop over between our emirates cruise and our flight home, and I am so glad we did, as it was our last day and night in Dubai, but we saved the best till last and it topped off the holiday superbly. There were ample restaurants to chose from day and evening, with good choice for the pallet and wallet. there were a large number of bars too, some with entertainment, and good atmosphere. We chose the buffet restaurant with a great deal on food / beverage buffet at a set price - very resonable and very tasty. The hotel allowed me to use their internet cafe free of charge to check in for my flight and print off my baording passes - very helpful. would definately stay here again.
“Will select it the next time I go to Dubai”
The hotel is one of the oldest in Dubai. It has been renovated, but needs better maintenance, especially the Air Conditioning.
“Ray”
Just stay away from a room given next to "Hazard Room" they call as you have to sleep with vibration on your bed becuase of strong mechanical operations!
“Guests are just a statistic”
We checked into the Le Meridien on 18th Nov having already spent 3 nights at another hotel in Dubai. The staff were helpful and appeared to be friendly, however they had no real warmth and got a feeling that i was just a number! I asked how much the buffet was in one restaurant and I was told 500AED, which we later found out not to be true Also we had a meal at the chinese restaurant on site and the lamb arrived 30mins after our our food. On our last day, I asked for bell boy service to carry our luggage after waiting 15mins at 5am I started moving the luggage myself. i would rate this hotel as a 4star and not a 5 star I was disappointed
“Meridien Dubai”
Great staff, convenient location. I will definitely retuen. I would specially recommended if you are deaf as the staff really make an extra effort
“Very good airport hotel”
Only stayed a few hours, but difficult to fault as an airport hotel
“Great place to stay... a little expensive”
Greeat place to stay. 4 pools, 19 restaurants...BEER.
“Didn't want to leave”
Welcoming and helpful staff. Enjoyed room service.
“Conveniently located close to the airport”
Picked this hotel for its proximity to the airport due to an 14 hour layover. The "18" restaurants it claims are a little walk away and not clearly marked. We were there during Ramadan so some were closed altogether and some opened just at night. It's not a bad hotel but the set up is a bit confusing. It's certainly not like other Le Meridian's I've stayed at, but certainly not the worst either. They were kind to offer a fruit bowl and choice of juice drink as a welcoming gesture. Nothing really bad, nothing really great. Clean and close.
“Le Meridian near Aeroport”
We have stayed for just one night. The location was convinient. The staff welcomed us and was ready to help any minute. So we were quite satisfied. One small comment - the balcony door was impossible to open without staff help as we intended to smoke outside, otherwise no point to open it as it was +45C outside))
