“chilled out oasis”
Hotel lived up to the description and the staff were excellent - nothing was too much trouble. The surprise birthday cake waiting in our room for my husband was a delightful touch.
“great hotel”
great hotel got everything you need
“Perfect for relaxation, will go back again, again and again!”
This was our 4th visit to the Jebel Ali hotel and each time we have been more impressed. Recently refurb has brought the rooms up to date. The staff are awsome and cant do enough for you. The choice of restaurants and bars is endless and the best steak ever can be eaten at Shooters. The three pools are fantastic and the sea is just a few feet away. Plenty to do no matter what age. Thoroughly recommend and will keep going back to our paradise!
“Truly wonderful”

“We will be back”
I have to say that Jebel Ali Hotel, was fantastic in every way. Me and my wife went for our 16th wedding anniversary and it lived up to our every expectation. So we will be back next year but this time we are coming with family and friends.

“Beautiful hotel - we WILL return”
Such a clean and modern hotel with three pools and a private beach which is two minutes walk from the hotel. The only reason why it may put some people off is it's location which is away from the city centre. But then again you won't find a hotel in the city which has three pools and a private beach right? Also the hotel provides it's own complimentary shuttle bus (which is actually a big air conditioned coach) which drops off and picks up guests from the Ibn Battuta Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Atlantis and the Gold and Diamond Park. I hope in the future that they include other locations such as the Dubai Mall which is much bigger and better than Ibn Battuta. Also perhaps a shuttle bus service from the airport (even if we have to pay for it) would be nice as the taxi driver taking us to the hotel had to telephone for directions as he wasn't sure of it's location. Room service is excellent and in the evening the house keeper comes in to turn the bed over and leave complimentary mineral water. The buffet breakfast is relatively inexpensive (if ordered at the time of booking the hotel) and definitely fills you up for a day spent sunbathing and swimming or relaxing in the spa. There's also the golf and other activities such as horse-riding and boat crusies. However because of the heat during July it was simply too hot to want to do anything except either relax in the pools or go shopping in the cool sanctuaries of the malls in Dubai. Great hotel and we can't wait to return.
“A wonderful hotel”
Unlike most hotels in Dubai, this one is a proper holiday resort... Acres of beautiful palm-filled landscaped gardens, scattered with a good selection of swimming pools (with swim-up bars), and backing onto a private 1km beach. A huge range of watersports is also available at the hotel. Rooms are a good size and very clean and comfortable. The quality of service from all the staff was excellent. Only downside with this hotel is that it is not in a cental location. This should not put you off, as it is a compromise that it definitely worth making, but it is worth bearing in mind that getting to the City centre, any of the major attractions/malls/parks/etc, or the airport will mean a 30-60 minute taxi ride - however, taxis are very cheap, and such a journey will cost around 15-25 GBP (20-35 USD).
“Good for sitting by the pool”
A big resort hotel outside Dubai city (a £12 taxi ride). It was fine for what we wanted - a week sitting by the pool. The outside areas were a little run-down though, although the gym was fantastic. I'd definitely reccommend buying breakfast with the room booking, it worked out much more expensive otherwise and there is nowhere nearby to eat at all. The hotel has a couple of restaurants, but some of these operate on a buffet system which works out super-expensive.
“Disappointing”
This hotel appears to be great for families, but for myself and my husband it was very disappointing. The hotel claims to be 5 star, but I don't think it's worth the money - especially as the rooms were very small (as are the balconies). Unfortunately the hotel is a bit too 'resorty' for my liking - I'm not keen on people trying to sell me boat dinner cruises and join in evening entertainment. It was also not a very relaxing atmosphere as it was very busy and especially noisy at night. Therefore we took advantage of the shuttle buses into the malls and ate out every night. The location is very isolated, which is great if you want to spend all your time there, but I was looking for a bit more than that. Not a hotel I will be going back too, which is disappointing.
