moderm clean, helpful staff. not much to do locally. Safa park and jumerirah beach park within 20 minute walk. Shuttle to beach and Dubai mall every day. Apart from that nothing to do. Train station 10 minute walk or have a taxi into town. Small suermarket by the station useful because kiosk is expensive. Room cleaned daily but not hoovered, crisps stayed on the floor. fridge and room safe very useful. ice machine also available on second floor. Wifi is expensive, but fast.. Generally good hotel for peaceful stay and beach, but too far from town so maybe too quiet. At full rack rate you can do better. I only booked because of special expedia deal and I wanted the beach.

“Not impressed”

We were put into a smoking room when we requested a non-smoking room. The 1st room we were placed in reeked of smoke. We requested to be moved and we were placed in another smoking room. The smell was still present but not as nauseating as the first room. When we got back from our break, we realised that ALL of our clothes smelled of smoke! Not a pleasant feeling at all. Overall condition of the hotel looked worn. Breakfast was average at best.

We enjoyed 7 days there, the working team were friendly, break fast was OK, room was little bit smal.

“Extremely good value”

The Holiday Inn Express Dubai Safa Park is certainly to be recommended. It is bright and clean and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with a small safe for valuables, TV and a computer desk with connection by cable, tea and coffee making facilities, an extremely comfortable bed with new bed linen, adequate hanging space for clothes and a small sofa. The bathroom spotlessly clean with a powerful shower, lovely soft towels and complimentary shower gel, handwash etc. The dining area was clean and the staff were meticulous in clearing away as soon as tables were vacated. Breakfast was buffet style and was very comprehensive, from continental to cereals, cooked breakfast, fruit, yoghurt, juices, toast, danish pastries, tea and coffee etc. The only downside was that there was sometimes a long queue. The hotel provided a free shuttle service to the beach and Dubai Mall and was situated close to a beautiful park. Taxis were plentiful and rates reasonable and it is also close to the metro. The staff were friendly and helpful and we would certainly stay again.

“A bit isolated.”

This hotel was fine from an accommodation perspective. It was very, very nice and very clean. It was also conveniently near Business Bay Metro Station from where virtually ANYTHING could be accessed. The downsides were, no pool, expensive "wired" Internet, no vending machines should one become peckish and no shop within a mile walk (which in the heat of September was like FIVE miles). The Staff were very smart and courteous and I was able to leave my luggage for around 6 hours after check-out and felt very secure.

“Excellent customer service, nice clean new hotel”

Spent 8 nights in April 2011, 4th time in Dubai, this hotel so far is the best. Very modern, clean , new , free breakfast, free beach shuttle, extremely polite and helpful staff, 30 min walk to Burj Kalifa, 5min walk to metro station, 10 min to supermarket. Highly recomend to enyone not willing to spend a fortune in Atlantis or Royal Mirage. Rooms comfy and clean. bathroom spotless and shining, very pleased with the hotel.

Although public transport is very good I would have liked a hotel in a more convenient location to shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

“Perfect for my needs”

This hotel is great for anyone wanting to access the airport (metro close and goes directly into terminals 1 and 3), beach or really anything at all in Duabi. It was clean, quiet, had underground free parking, a very nice breakfast buffet, and pleasant staff. Will definitely return.
