“Noisy Hotel”

The hotel was quite noisy due to different night clubs. The pulice areas were clean and tidy but the room allocated to us was in need of refurbishment ie soft furnishings, curtains, and carpet grubby and room in need of repainting. The general house keeping was very good ie clean bed linen and towels. Staff were excellent, very helpful and polite. Star rating - I would say 4 not five

“Port Call in Dubai”

This was a fun place to see my husband. The hotel was nice and rooms very comfortable. Great pools (3 to try) and many delicous restaurants, you would never have to leave if you didnt want to see the rest of the city. It was a quick taxi ride to everywhere maxium 30 minutes or a 5 minute walk to the brand new metro (very cheap a day pass for shopping). The only thing that bothered me on the trip was that some nights the club on the grounds was playing music very loudly until 2 or 3am. I am a light sleeper so I didnt get much rest those nights. They need to either turn is down or triple pane the glass to reduce the noise in the hotel rooms. Staff was very nice and a very clean place. I would stay here again. Oh and the internet was very pricey!! I'm used to hotels having free wifi so that was a bit of a suprise but I will read more carefully next time.

Souk Mandinat was great for shopping Burj Khalifa is a must for tourists Take a desert safari if you want to experience some dune bashing, camel rides, etc. very touristy but everyone enjoyed

“Good location - Hotel seems drabby and old”

Good location with Dubai Marina walk and Jumeirah Beach Residence within walking distance and access to private beach. Beautiful pools with great views from the 3rd floor pool.

“Habtoor Grand Resort and Spa Dubai”

This hotel is absolutely superb. Working in the Travel Industry and seeing hotels all around the world on a regular basis, I would rate this as the best of any experience I've had. If you want top class service in a top class hotel, with top class facilities, in Dubai, stay at the Habtoor Grand Resort and Spa. It will not let you down.

“Great hotel for the price and great location”

The hotel was great! There are plenty of nice restaurants and amenities for everyone. The hotel taxis are more expensive than the regular taxis, but if you tell the men out front, they will get you the regular taxis parked at the end of the drive. Also, the hotel does not have an ATM. You will need to get cash while on excursions into the malls or other attractions. Overall, we enjoyed a wonderful stay at the hotel.

“i will never go back , even if i have to sleep in the street”

they need better trained stuff, I asked the lady in the front desk to charge me for one day breakfast , she made a mistake and charged me for two days , and i was just arriving , i didn't pay too close attention because I trusted the lady , when I went to my room and after I took a shower , i checked the receipt for what I was charged for , and I found out that she charged me for two days , and I went back to the front desk and explain what happened , and the gentlman answer was " I can't help you , it's already charged to your card " i was surprise, no more coments i said.

“Great price quality ratio, very nice location, excellent service.”

The staff at the reception was very polite, helpful and co-operative (Philip) and check-in was very quick although we have arrived in the morning, i.e. well before the standard check-in time. The room was as we expected it to be - with a sea view and very clean. Coffee and tea free of charge and fresh fruits in the afternoon. The restaurants are a bit noisy on Thursday and Friday, but at the 7th floor we didn't have any problems to sleep. The breakfast was very rich - in line with the expectations for a 5* hotel. In brief, a great place to stay!

Area recommendations

Wild Wadi aquapark and Safari trip. The Safari trip organized by Alpha Tours was a great experience!

“Too Noisy”

The hotel was very noisy, from the nightclub to the building works, you can't escape! The rooms are a little dark, the lighting could be better. Otherwise, the hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly.

“Nearest hotel to Skydive Dubai”

this is an excellent hotel and great facilities for a spa type hotel. if you're into Skdiving then it's a 5 min walk across the beach to the DZ Couldn't have asked for more
