“Beautiful Hotel”

“Perfect luxury break”

Grosvenor House is a fantastic 5 star hotel in Dubai Marina. Gorgeous rooms, great pool and brilliant Buddha bar. Guests can also use Royal Meridien's beach and pool. A friend recommended it to me and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else.

The Walk in front of Jumeirah Beach Residences is great for strolling, people-watching and dining.

“Fantastic Hotel.”

What a great Hotel ! Total luxury,superb rooms,great service,wonderful breakfasts,stunning at night.We booked a club room with a free upgrade to use the exclusive lounge on the 44th floor,do this if you can and take advantage of the free teas and coffee all day..but even better the free drinks between 6.00 and 8.00 pm...this will save you a small fortune as drinks are VERY EXPENSIVE in the hotel and wherever else you can get them. Le Royal Meridien beach club is very handy and perfect ! Have fun!

“March 2011 - 5 day trip to Dubai.”

The hotel and the staff were quite exceptional. Service is just brilliant with masses of staff available to help you at every turn. Really enjoyable and great facilities. I would suggest that the hotel need to have some sort of the food and drink package as I think it is rather expensive to both in the hotel. We used the Marina area alot as it was considerably better value. HOWEVER, you must try to the Buddha Bar - the food is awesome and the bar is very cool and trendy. Please remember that Dubai is a work in progress - there is alot of construction going on around the hotel and that would be my only criticism.

Area recommendations

You must do the 4x4 safari - we did it with Orient Travel and it is brilliant. Really exciting and then a lovely BBQ and watched the sun go down in the desert. Take a fleece with you, it gets cold. Also, go on a boat tour of the Palm, we used Yellow Boats which were great.

“Grosvenor House 1st class”

Best Hotel so far i have stayed in, in Dubai . Spot-less through-out, staff could not do enough for you, and through out our stay we had so many complimentary l things that made such a lot to me. I will defiantly be returning one day soon..

I would aiways stay along Jumariah Beach as it is so beautifull and you have so much around you.

“Fabulous”

“Probably the best hotel I've stayed in!”

A superb hotel with fantastic service all round. The staff couldn't do enough for you and you always felt like you were their only guest - despite the huge hotel being completely full! They even apologised to us that we couldn't get into our room before check in time - and gave us free coffee and pastries!

“Just like Benidorm but with extensive construction work”

Overall a disappointing stay!! This was our honeymoon and we were expecting a restful stay however due to the extensive construction work going on all around the hotel (several x 40+ floor buildings) being built throughout the day and night there was little chance of that. The hotel was informed via expedia that this was our honeymoon and were reminded of this on our arrival but still failed to provide the honeymoon package. The location of the hotel also let it down as it is next to a busy freeway and the walkway isnt safe enough for you to walk to the beach. A bus is provided but you are very limited as to where you can go. I would definately not recommend this hotel for a relaxing break as its location and surrounding building works makes it an extremely unattractive place to be but for business travel it is idea as its in the busy business district and the rooms are comfortable and the food is good. As we had booked a club room we had access to the bar on the 42 floor and made full use of the snacks and alcohol which are included in the price. This is an essential as the restaurants and bars on the nearby beach do not sell alcohol and there is not much choice for eating out. Most places to eat out are poor. So if you are going to Grosvenor House make sure to book a club room and take advantage of the breakfast, afternoon tea and pre dinner drinks. As stated I would not recommend this hotel to friends or family but would recommend for business.

I would only recommend this hotel for business travellers. The location is not suitable for leisure

Shopping

The Dubai mall is about 30mins away on the metro link this is a must see but take plenty of money. There is also emirates mall which is closer to the hotel but Dubai mall is by far bigger and better.
