“Would definitely stay there again!!!”

Very courteous and professional staff. Located in great proximity to airport and souqs. Very nice rooms, and amenities! Checked in from an expedia booking with ease!

“I like this hotel”

I stay in this hotel every time I go to Dubai, it's worm family kind, clean, good service, nice food, I like there breakfast, and there swimming pool, even it's small but very clean.

“A good hotel”

Overall this hotel is good. It's quiet. The breakfast was great. The staff were okay, depending on whom you deal with. It is located in the "old city" so if you want to visit those famous sightseeing sites you need a car. But you do get a chance to see the old Dubai which is great, I think.

When to go

The best time to go there is during February and March because the temperature is still durable.

“Very bad customer service”

I arrived 2 hours earlier then check-in time and when I asked how long it would be until I check-in, they did not know. I had to ask 5 times, until I just fell asleep in the lobby on the couch. As well, no one picked me up at the airport, it stated on Expedia free shuttle and they said I needed to book a higher level of accommodation in order to get the free shuttle service from the airport. Other then the loud disco music I can hear in my room, the room was good but very small. The customer service at the desk was very poor, they need re-think before hiring people who cannot handle the stress at the desk.

it was nice stay generally but there park is totaly far from the building and takes so long , but it was free , services was ok and i recommend this hotel for families

“Das Hotel liegt nicht weit vom Flughafen und der Metrostation”

Das Hotel ist sauber und der Service sehr freundlich und kompetent. Mein Zimmer war eher klein aber sauber und gut nutzbar. Der Internetzugang war gratis. Einziges Manko ist die Baustelle am Hotel und somit der Abruchbagger, der um 7:00h startete. Das sollte aber in ca. 4 Wochen ausgestenden sein. Ich kann das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

“Preiswertes Stadthotel”

Stadthotel im Ortsteil Deira mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. In unmittelbarer Umgebung vom intern. Flughafen. Metrostation "AL Riga" nur 400 Meter entfernt. (Deira City Center nur 1 Station entfernt) Kostenloser täglicher Shuttlebus zum Schwesterhotel am Strand (Coral Beach, ca. 20min) Abfahrt 10:00 Uhr und Abholung 14:00. Man muss sich mind. 1 Tag vorher anmelden. Auch ein eigener kleiner Pool auf dem Dach ist vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet (LCD-TV, Internet, Couch, Safe...) Internet (LAN) ist inklusive. Man bekommt Gratis Codes die jeweils immer eine Stunde gültig sind. Ich hatte für jeden Tag einen erhalten aber denke, dass man auch mehr bekommen kann. Achtung! Ich hatte eine Rate inkl. Frühstück gebucht (Voucher), aber das Hotel hatte darauf bestanden, dass ich mein Frühstück extra bezahlen muss (65 DH!!!) Kurzes Mail an Expedia und die hatten mir sofort bestätigt, dass meine Rate inkl. Frühstück ist und wenn sich das Hotel weiterhin verweigert soll ich die Rechnung bezahlen und bekomme anschließend den Betrag erstattet. Das hat auch super und unkompliziert funktioniert!!! Gegenüber dem Hotel befindet sich ein kleiner Supermarkt bei dem man sich sehr günstig mit z.B. Getränken versorgen kann. Auf der anderen Straßenseite sind auch 2 Telefonzellen, dort kann man mit den Prepaid Karten (z.B. Etisalat) gut und günstig nach Hause telefonieren.

“Hotel Coral Deira, Dubai, prima uitvalsbasis voor een geslaagd stadsverlijf.”

In rustige omgeving, van alle gemakken voorzien met goede aandacht en verzorging. Behoorlijk geluidsdicht en lekker koel: een verademing na uit de enorme zomerhitte gekomen te zijn. Reizen is nagenoeg probleemloos! Metro op 2 straten afstand- hiermee kom je overal; taxi's altijd in de buurt. Supermarkten, restaurantjes dichtbij. Tijdens je verblijf heb je alles wat nodig is: een ontbijt is aan te bevelen: zeer uitgebreid; fitness; zwembad op dak (+ uitzicht). Als je jezelf ervoor open stelt, heb je snel contact, zij het meestal met de buitenlandse werknemers (veel Indiers) en minder met de arabieren. In de stad is genoeg te beleven: metrorit is schoon, goedkoop en efficient; diverse grote spectaculaire shoppingmalls; mooie parken (meer voor de winterperiode); hoogste toren (Burj Kalifa); strand (je kunt gratis gebruik maken van het strandhotel- wel wat afgelegen, maar heeft een heerlijk koel buitenzwembad). Kortom, prima om nog eens terug te komen.

Wijk Bur Dubai - oude wijk Bastakiya met museum, oude sfeer; Creek side park- mooi groen en rustig, even los van hectiek. Strand bij Deira, in de buurt van Burj el Arab- bekendste hotel met in de buurt in het nieuwe hotelcomplex: de Souk Madinat; Shopping Dubai Mall- inmiddels de allergrootste, met o.a. schaatsen en toegang tot hoogste toren: Burj Kalifa. Shopping mall of Emirates met Ski-mogelijkheid.

Winterperiode, wij waren er begin juni en dan buiten op straat eigenlijk al te heet om lekker te lopen.

Getting around

met de net nieuw aangelegde metro overbrug je snel en goedkoop grotere afstanden. Alles is schoon en duidelijk, hulp genoeg. Taxi is goed alternatief: er zijn er genoeg en is goedkoop. Lopen is in oudere gedeelte best goed te doen om sfeer te proeven.

Must see

- Burj Kalifa- hoogste gebouw ter wereld, kan via toeristische route vanuit de Dubai Mall. - Madinat Jumeirah resort - ook al verblijf je er niet zelf- neem een kijkje in sprookjesachtige omgeving; souk is wel vrij toegankelijk. Aan het strand goed zicht op Bekendste Dubai symbool: hotel Burj el Arab. - Dubai Mall met schaatsbaan en fontein-show. - Malle of Emirates met ski-mogelijkheid. - Dubai museum in wijk Bur Dubai - boottochtje op de Creek - een van de parken, oa. Creekside.
