“Dubai Business”

Nice location, well equipped, worth teh money. The only bad thing is the heated water is sometimes cut off without a reason !!

The Jumeirah area would be very nice for beach holidays.
Shopping
Therea are Iban Battuta Mall, BurJuman Mall, Emirates Mall and several other excellent shopping malls in Dubai.

“Jan10 visit”

Hotel excellent. Upgraded room excellent. Part of Burjuman shopping mall (all designer names). Walk throu mall to Metro. Excellent fitness facilities but downside (in winter) is both pools in the shade from 11am for rest of day (good in summer).

New Metro and new Burj Khalifa is brilliant.

“excellent break”

we only had 3 nights due to snow hold ups in Britain, but it was worth it. Loved the culture and tour of Jumeirah Mosque. The beaches were lovely and the sights and smells fantastic. There is still a lot of building work going on and when the metro system is finished it will make getting around easier. We went up the Burj Kalifa tower and the experience is worth the queues. Taxis are very cheap and everywhere we went the locals were more than helpfull. They couldnt do enough.

Area recommendations
The specific areas are very different, the "creek" as it is called is more authentic than the mega tower structures everywhere. You must cross the creek on a dow with all the locals. They cross right by the "souks" the gold souk is fasinating.

“"Good 4 star* service 5star*"”

Stayed in this hotel over Christmas and New Year 2009/2010. Negatives first then Positives Negs:Had to change electric Iron three times due to water leaking Only 2 lifts longest wait 10minutes: ! Dirty Balcony and outside furniture Asked for Guide and vehicle for Abu Dhabi. Very dirty battered old van that had a serious wheel balance problem turned up with two teenagers (Guides??)who didnt have a clue cost £180 nothing included. Pos: 5* Star staff from front desk,cleaners,pool attendent and security all acknowledged you with a smile.Good breakfast mucho plenty. Great mall!! Turn Left for Metro (5min)/direct airport/Deria/. Taxis 10 min wait average.Clean heated pool for morning dip. Turn right for Spinneys Shop for grocerys. The largest room for price we have ever stayed in. Comfortable kIng bed. 2 flat screen televisions, v.large bathroom and another small toliet. No problem if you stay here/ Public beach 10min by taxi/ Would stay again with the Rotana Group hotels

“Burjuman Arjaan - great hotel, value , location.”

highly recommended hotel. we booked the basic suite ( classic suite). Plenty of room, nicely fitted out. Nice views Friendly stafff. Conveniently located next to a shopping centre and fitness suite for those of you who want to use it Breakfast was included in our room rate, and it was a good breakfast, plenty of choice and nice quality food Yes, we woudl stay there again.

“This was a very good hotel with large and comfortable "suite" rooms.”

A good base with easy access to the metro, adjoining "Burjuman" mall. A good selection for the buffet breakfast. The only down side was the quality of the pool areas. There was a large "lane type" pool on one level, which was fine if all you wished to do is lengths. However, if you wished to relax by either pool, there were only hard wooden loungers with no padded covers (as per their website pictures) and the sun left the pool areas by 10am each day. The sport/leisure area was managed by "FitnessFirst" and was not 4* hotel quality.

Area recommendations
Mall of the Emirates and Jumeirah Beach were certainly a highlight.

“I really enjoy my stay and can't wait to go back”

Our suite was very spacious and comfortable. The room photos are indeed accurate. A very nice view in the evening and the hotel was in a very good central location. I loved the shopping centre that was easily entered through the walk way and being in heart of dubai. This is a suite hotel with a supermarket just on the next block so eating can be as cheap as you want and you can still have that "home cooked" taste.. We found the front desk staff to be eager to assist, as we lost a digital camera while there, accidentally left in a taxi. They kindly reviewed the security camera footage to try to get the taxi details. They kept us updated everyday as they also contacted the taxi company. So we suggest you always note the taxi roof colour or company name. Look also for the cab no. or the drivers ID card on the dashboard. The breakfast selection is quite enough we felt, would you really need a north european "fry-up" when its over 32C outside! All in all a good choice, but a brand new one hotel of the Rotana chain is opening soon called "Rose Rayhaan" which looks superb. Will be booking for a new year trip..We flew with Emirates, only economy class but nevertheless it was a superb service and with their dedicated terminal in Dubai it was the fastest we have have ever gone through a terminal both on arrival & departure. Superb value for money and we shall now always use them as our preferred carrier.

“Fantastic Hotel in an incredible city!”

My husband and I visited for 3 days during a holiday to stay with friends in Abu Dhabi. We booked 2 nights in the Burjuman Arjaan and were more than impressed with the hotel and the service we received. The hotel is located above the Burjuman shopping mall which is a fantastic mall with luxury stores. It is also stop number 9 on the Big Bus Tour which made it our main method of transport for the duration of our stay. Dubai is so big there is no better way to get around and see everything than on the Big Bus (be prepared for the longest bus tours of your life though!). The hotel and the room itself were brilliant, we would have been happy with just the bedroom, bathroom and balcony. It has a kitchen area with washing machine, firdge, freezer, microwave etc, a large sitting room with a gorgeous sofa, dining table. The bedroom is large, the bathroom is enormous and the balcony is huge! We had distant views out to the Burj Al Arab and the Creek - fantastic! The hotel itself does not have a bar or restaurant but there is a bistro in the mall that you can access from the hotel for breakfast. The breakfast is adequate, but I have definitely had better poached eggs elsewhere! If you fancy a drink in the evenings while staying in the hotel then there is no bar in the hotel so we would recommend taking your own alcohol. The hotel staff were always very helpful and we were delighted with the service we received.

Area recommendations
Deira, down by the creek. Try to visit the Abra stops and cross the Creek to one of the souks. or Visit the Wafi, it has an incredible souk.
