Dubai Experience

Pros: Freely helpful staff, clean rooms, good air conditioning, we have no complaints
Cons: Wine in the mini bar
The Regent Palace Hotel, is across the road from the Durraman shopping mall and the bus stop for the Big Bus city tours. A short walk to the metro rail also. Would recommend the afternoon tea at Burj Al Arab, the best meal we had in Dubai, you most book in advance. Burj Kalifah is a must, pay the extra and do the fast track if you hate to queue

Nagyon jó az ára! Sokkal rosszabbra számítottunk, de a kicsit már kiöregedett szálloda mindazt nyújtotta, amire szükségünk volt. Ingyenes wi-fi és nagy reggeli is van, szinte ingyen.

Terrible experience

Pros: Nothing at ALL
Cons: Everything is in shambles.
I had booked my room on line and to my horror when I reached the hotel 1100h I was told that the check in starts only at 1400h so an agonising wait for three hours, which is not mentioned at the time of booking. I had booked for six nights and could not even a night peacefully as the live band was playing the whole night till about 4 o clock. I had spoken one Mr Vinod, I don't know his position but was told to speak with the receptionist who expressed total helplessness. An overall terrible experience.

チェックイン時に、危うく最初の一泊だけ近くの(5分くらいの場所)系列ホテルに変えられそうになったので、必死に抵抗(笑)。 つたない英語力駆使したのでなんとかなりましたが、2泊お願いしているのに、1日目は系列ホテル、2日目はリージェントパレスに戻ってくる、って、どーゆーこと⁉️ 日本人、舐められてるな…と思いました。

No room in the middle of the night

I made reservation for an extra night because we would be arriving around 01:30 in the morning - and the room was not ready! We were asked to wait for 30 min, then they found out that they had to transfer us to another hotel for that night due to "unexpected renovation". We had to accept because there were no alternatives, but I wonder why they couldn't have told us in advance or immediatelt upon arrival - now we were at the alternative hotel around 03:00. The next day we got our room at 10:30 but we got no compensation for this! Really a shame because otherwise the hotel is OK with a good location near the intersection of both Metro lines and fair facilities and breakfast buffet.

reasonablly priced hotel

excellent location just yards away from Burjurman metro station. Check in was slow, didn't get the room till 3pm.Was given a king bed instead of single, not bad at all.Good size room. Hotel is rated 4 star but personally think it only deserves 3 star.Requested upper floor room but was given 1st floor. Noisy,loud music from ground floor night club, thurs night was a nightmare constantly hearing banging noises from ground floor, it turned out to be workmen setting up tables and chairs for a function or some sort. Can't understand why they have to do it in the middle of the night, why not in the morning? Breakfast is mainly aimed for Asian guests, not an issue for me as I like indian food.The only thing I like about this hotel is it's location and price, nothing else.
