This is now the third time we came to dubai and this hotel. And we will always stay here when coming to dubai as it gives you a private environment loke no other. The service is suberp, the people very friendly, you feel you you are truely welcome.

Arabian Court

Posted 05-Dec-2014
Pros: Decor & service, room service food lovely, clean, comfortable
Cons: Helicopters flying directly overhead spoils the whole ambience of the pool area
Location: n/a
Absolutely beautiful hotel, this is our favourite hotel in terms of room quality and decor, facilities and service. However, we found the pool area was not relaxing at all- helicopters and low flying aircraft fly directly overhead all day and are very noisy. On 3 days out of 5, there was not 1 minute of peace and when the helicopters are not directly overhead they are buzzing about nearby and there is a constant drone of the noise. On 1 of the days of our our stay I actually counted the times that they flew directly overhead- 23 times helicopters and 7 times light aircraft in 2.5 hours- between 10am and 12.30pm- the helicopters start about 8.30am so it's a ridiculous level of noise and not acceptable. The hotel needs to address this & speak to the flight tour company and get the route changed as lots of guests were unhappy and frustrated with this. I did mention this to the front desk but was told it was only because Tuesday 2/12/14 was national day but having spoken to many staff and other guests - this does not seem to be true. It's such a shame as the hotel is excellant in all other ways but this completely spoiled our holiday. You couldn't even drown out the noise with an Ipod.

wonderful quiet hotel

Posted 23-Nov-2014
Pros: Beach, staff, facilities, restaurants, quiet.
Location: Near Dubai Marina, so close to large number of restaurants, easy taxi ride to shopping malls and Jumeirah beach area. next to new tram line.
This hotel is such a marked difference to the modern silver and chrome hotels in Dubai which attract daily visitors. Royal Mirage is stylish, superb rooms and great facilities but has the feel of being your hotel. Staff are excellent, our trip coincided with two birthdays and the extra touches were appreciated. Great beach, very good restaurants.

An ok hotel

Posted 14-Oct-2014
Pros: The room was in a quite area but very far to walk to the reception.
Cons: Early check in or the offer to pay for early check in.
Location: I found an exit where I could get a taxi to the reception
Hotel was an average 4/5 star. Hotel called to ask time of arrival which was 9am. But on arrival kept us in the reception for 4hours before getting a room. I had a broken foot and they said they would get a room ready on the most convenient floor so I could access the reception without walking to far. Then I was given the furthest away room from the reception. Room 156 in the lower ground floor at the furthest extreme area from the reception.

Great position and fabulous Restaurants

Posted 14-Oct-2014
Pros: The location and the great Restuarants
Cons: Tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms
Location: Close to Dubai Marina with all the great shops and restaurants. You also have the great beach and The Walk by the beach
Had a great 5 days there, as always. If I were trying to pick faults I would say that the breakfast at Celebrities lacked choice and that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. But this our 3rd stay at this hotel now and would still go back.

Nice Place ....... But

Posted 09-Oct-2014
Pros: Friendliness of staff. Food at Euvive and Tajine Restaurants are very good and atmosphere at the Jetty Lounge if good
Cons: For a lot of the staff you seem invisible, slow responsiveness of staff.
Staff is extremely friendly and hotel is quite nice, but Hotel seemed under staffed as service in many cases took ages and overall service was not what you expect from a Luxury hotel

An oasis

Posted 04-Oct-2014
Pros: Luxury without being pretentious
Cons: Housekeeping was a bit lax but rectified when we phoned up
Location: A taxi needed to everywhere but clean and cheap ( about the only thing in Dubai that is). We did the Burj Al Arab and the Burj Khalifa - you must book
The Roral Mirage is an oasis in the middle of a building site that is Dubai! Once inside it is peaceful and relaxing and one of the few hotels in Dubai that has its own beautiful beach (although it was too hot to go on when we were there). The pool are around the Arabian Court was perfect with regular cold towels/chilled water/fresh fruit. Staff were very helpful. Go on the little boat boer to the palm and have a drink in the 101 bar - very classy.
