superb staff and accomodations

Pros: staff, facilities and comfort.
Cons: on the elevator screen with the local temperature, include the local temperature in fahrenheit.
Location: The platform for the metro is nearby and therefore any place in the city is accessible. Food stores, lots of small shops. Just a very nice area.
I was very happy with the service and the quality of the facilities. My special appreciation goes to the night manager, Walid, for his exceptional service. The pool and exercise facilities were super. On my next trip to Dubai it is the only place I will stay.

Bathroom Needs Renovation

Jane gave us a welcome smile. Jane said if we pay when we book in they will not keep our passports ( funny in the USA if you go to a hotel/motel they want your ID/Driver's License) if not they will keep passports until you paid/leave. Our room I will give it a three star, bed was very low and the bathroom had mole couldn't take bath. Report to staff and was move to another room 24 hours because they had to fix that room also. Manager said. ( for our inconvenience gave my husband/I free breakfast ) They did give us a ride to the airport. If they improve in the height of bed and renovate bathrooms it will be an ideal hotel to stay. The kitchen was clean which I appreciate very much. I am looking forward to a family vacation next year in the summer. Thanks the staff was great. I would recommend to my friend who is coming in July.

Hotel looks good from outside but rooms furniture and amenities need to be changed. Same set of furniture and TV since I have been staying in this hotel as far back as 2008. The hotel does not have loyalty program. For instance since 2008 that I have been staying in this hotel, I have never received any appreciation for my loyalty.

Wish I had fully read reviews before booking. I have never stayed in such a filthy room ever in any part of the globe. The final insult was they couldn't even give us a room key. It was lost and we had to be let into our room. This didn't make for a relaxing nights sleep. As we wondered who would walk in! If we hadn't arrived at the hotel so late we would walked out immediately. No attempt has been made to improve he cleanliness of this hotel having read now the previous reviews hotel was given the opportunity to speak to me reference the stay and have not followed it through to conclusion yet, 3 days later. If you can avoid this hotel at all costs. It was interesting to note that as we struggled to find our room we walked to the other wing and it appeared to be of a less dated finish. But that does not excuse major house cleaning issues! Plus the lack of a room key. Just to reassure you all further all the passports they had taken from customers for copying was just left on the side behind an unmanned counter!

Ignorant and rude staff

Horrible experience with a disrespectful manager from this hotel, upon arrival took over 20mins to finally come out his office to speak with myself. Initially stating I had no reservation, having produced my booking confirmation he then went onto say my credit card had declined which had just been used prior to arriving at the hotel. Unbelievably rude and arrogant with no consideration that my family have had a long journey and simply looking to check in to our room which we booked. Upon checking the room which he phoned up to have cleaned, I found entire appartment smelling of damp and nowhere near to the standards shown in the pictures. I did not take up on his offer to pay in full with a deposit there and then before checking in. AVOID AT ALL COSTS !
