Pleasant stay

The hotel supports you with anything you need. Staff is very friendly and hotel location is excellent. Mini bar is complementary and no restrictions on what you consume. The breakfast is copious and tasty.

Pros: New with good facilities. Large bedrooms and bathrooms with a walk in shower.
Cons: Club room food choice and quantity.
Location: Location was great. Festival shopping centre nearby. Good restaurants walking distant to the hotel. Metro station 10 -15 min walk away.
We, my sister and I, had a lovely stay here last week. The hotel was in prime location with eating facilities in walking distant. It was also easy to reach places in old Dubai. There was a shuttle bus that took guests to Dubai mall, wild wadi and a free pass to their jumeirah sister hotel on the palm. We had a club room which gave us access to the club lounge. This was ok. The food was limited in both choice and quantity. The breakfast had lots of choice but again as other hotels mostly the same each day. But that's not a problem to me. They have several restaurants on sight. We didn't order room service or eat at their restaurants so I can't comment. They have an outside seating area a little distant away from the pool, so was very pleasant to sit there and relax. There were plenty of sofas and chairs there. There's a metro station nearby, and taxis were always available from outside the hotel. However there is the Irish village which did get noisy on some evening with noise blaring out. But to be fair we were on seventh floor and only dimly heard it.

Amazing Five Star Hotel

Posted 12-May-2015
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Can't think of any.
Location: It's near the Creekside.
We have just returned from Dubai & stayed at Jumeriah Creekside Hotel for a week. The hotel is ultra modern, Clean & is stunning with massive bedrooms as we stayed in a Premier King Room. 24 Check in & Check out is an added bonus which you don’t find everywhere. Excellent choice of breakfast, free mini bar, amazing customer service, free shuttle bus, pools & outdoor activities. We used the free beech pass & really enjoyed it. Deira City Centre & the Dubai Mall are not too far away as taxis can be easily grabbed from outside the hotel. Airport is literally less than 10 minutes drive as you can see it from the Hotel’s eighth floor i.e. Cuba Bar on the Roof. The hotel in room food was really good as well. Really impressed overall. Me & Missus are already planning to go back to this hotel in the nearby future. Overall 5 out of 5.

Excellent and convenient transit hotel in Dubai.

Posted 19-Apr-2015
Pros: Close to the airport. Nice setting.
Cons: Sort out the plumbing so that hot water is available without waiting for minutes (long enough to make you think that it was off).
Location: very close to the airport and also close to the Creek restaurant areas. Adjacent to the Irish Village and tennis and golf if you are interested.
Could not fault the hotel except if you wanted a warm shower you had to wait for the hot water arrive from who knows where. In a new building of this caliber you should get hot water from the tap without calling the reception.

Stylish Hotel near airport

Posted 12-Apr-2015
Pros: see above
Location: Not in the best of locations and beside busy roads. Good access to international airport.
Stayed 3 nights during Easter break. Hotel is near airport but not beside the Creek. Facilities and amenities in hotel are first class. Beautifully furnished in a modern and stylish design. Good restaurants: the Nomad serves very extensive breakfast buffet catering for all tastes. All staff friendly and professional. Large swimming pool area and some pleasant extensive grounds. Near a restaurant village. Room was large and well equipped. Beautiful bathroom but the bath did not provide hot enough water. However the rain shower made up for these limits. Unfortunately I stayed during a children's holiday season and the hotel was awash with young families. This spoilt my stay somewhat as I was hoping the 5-star Jumeirah experience would have been more exclusive. Although it calls itself Creekside, it is not near any good walking and one needs transport to go anywhere. However, for a business-orientated hotel it is very good. Not necessarily suitable for young families though.

Do you like hordes of screaming spoiled children?

Posted 02-Apr-2015 on Hotels
Do you like hordes of screaming spoiled children surrounding you at every corner while you're on business trip and trying to enjoy some down time away from kids? If so, then this is the hotel for you!!! The room itself is great, breakfast food great, gym good, and easy to access to the metro. The hotel certainly can do a better job managing assignment of rooms, seating at breakfast, and lifeguarding and use of the pool to group families together as opposed to those who are traveling on business. At breakfast hosts should make an effort to subtlety group families in one part of the dining room. Many children were unruly b/c one parent would go to the buffet for a long time to bring back plates of food for the whole family. The servers should offer to bring a plate of fruit or pastries or eggs or whatever the family wants to the table so one parent doesn't have to be absent for so long. The lifeguard did a pitiful job, with small children and inattentive parents crowding the LANES. The hotel should keep the kids pool open so long as there are crowds of children there and never let small children in the swim lanes. Also, the locker room/sauna area has signs that no children under 12 are not allowed but don't indicate where the family room is. As a result lots of little children were running around, which doesn't make for a relaxing hot tub or sauna time for sure. If the hotel can institute these simple suggestions, then it'll be much better off!

Not a good nights sleep

Posted 24-Mar-2015 on Hotels
I arrived at 10 pm and checking was fine. At 01:30 I am I was woken by children running and shouting in the corridor. This continued for several minutes until I phoned the operator who called security. Was woken again by the sound of loud snoring from the person in the adjoining room.

Lovely Rooms

Stayed with my wife for 2 nights on route home from the Far East. Found the rooms to be excellent, however common areas of the hotel were quite noisey.
