Excellent and convenient transit hotel in Dubai.

Posted 19-Apr-2015
Pros: Close to the airport. Nice setting.
Cons: Sort out the plumbing so that hot water is available without waiting for minutes (long enough to make you think that it was off).
Location: very close to the airport and also close to the Creek restaurant areas. Adjacent to the Irish Village and tennis and golf if you are interested.
Could not fault the hotel except if you wanted a warm shower you had to wait for the hot water arrive from who knows where. In a new building of this caliber you should get hot water from the tap without calling the reception.

Stylish Hotel near airport

Posted 12-Apr-2015
Pros: see above
Location: Not in the best of locations and beside busy roads. Good access to international airport.
Stayed 3 nights during Easter break. Hotel is near airport but not beside the Creek. Facilities and amenities in hotel are first class. Beautifully furnished in a modern and stylish design. Good restaurants: the Nomad serves very extensive breakfast buffet catering for all tastes. All staff friendly and professional. Large swimming pool area and some pleasant extensive grounds. Near a restaurant village. Room was large and well equipped. Beautiful bathroom but the bath did not provide hot enough water. However the rain shower made up for these limits. Unfortunately I stayed during a children's holiday season and the hotel was awash with young families. This spoilt my stay somewhat as I was hoping the 5-star Jumeirah experience would have been more exclusive. Although it calls itself Creekside, it is not near any good walking and one needs transport to go anywhere. However, for a business-orientated hotel it is very good. Not necessarily suitable for young families though.

This hotel was perfect for our stay as we were just a quick taxi ride away from what we had planned to do - burj kalifa, burj al arab, meydan racecourse. The staff were extremely helpful and booked a couple of trips for us.Would definitely recommend this hotel

Nice hotel with a bunch of liar staff.

Please be cautious, the room Club Superior CANNOT accomodate two king beds as they promised me over a mail. Upon arrival I was asked to upgrade ona huge cost. And upon further queries from Expedia and myself they build up a different story. Not professional not human..... rip off .... Though the GM has confirmed he has put training in place after this incident.... I guess what he means he has put human values into his staff as if earlier they acted as robots.... The hotel facilities are nice, and veMohitry accessible hotel...near the airport. Nice food joints near by.... see Century Village and near by roads... Nice place to stay if you are not bothered about getting ripped by the staff and policies

Nice hotel but with issues

Posted 28-Jan-2015
Pros: Very modern and very cool room amenities.
Location: Close to the airport. Not close to dontown or Old Dubai. Long drive or cab cab to get to anywhere in town.
Location is not ideal unless you want to be by the airport. Our room faced away from the creek and during the weekend, music from venues below were so loud and kept us up. Also found the staff going through the motions of being pleasant but not quite really caring. Very disappointed in the concierge and help finding food options when arriving back to the hotel late.

Had a good stay

Posted 27-Jan-2015
Pros: We enjoyed the breakfast package. They had verity of food in the buffet.
Cons: The bed. The bed they put for the kids was very low quality and kids had very discomfort stay.
The overall stay was good but they are accommodating 2 adult and 2 kids for Deluxe room where only one king size bed is available. We requested additional beds for kids but that bed was not in good quality/shape and kids had very discomfort stay. Other that that we had a great time.
