Pleasant hotel, reasonably central. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable but a little basic. Shower was in a bath and a bit weak. No electrical outlets on the bedside tables for convenient overnight charging.

"Hotel itself is very old and the rooms were extremely outdated. I had to lay a towel over the sofa just to sit on it as I started getting itchy. Staff at the front desk also took a long time (over 1.5 hours) to get our room sorted when we were checking in. They simply told us to wait one said and we saw so many other guests get served while we waited at the corner. I even approcahed 3 different staff to ask for an update and all they could say was ""it'll be ready soon"" with no further information. Hotel was fairly convenient as it was a short walk to the metro, opposite Museum of the future and had a few food places nearby as well. But the service is pretty poor and I wouldn't recommend this hotel, unless you like waiting hours for mediocre service."

The hotel was advised as being 5 Star but didn’t feel or look it, at best it is 4 Star. The staff were brilliant and were helpful with any queries raised. I would recommend the hotel for location alone as it was central to what we planned to do in Dubai with short taxi rides to what we wanted to do. One bug bear for me that stuck in my head was the quality of the bathroom towels, past their sell by date. The breakfast was the same every day with no variation. Overall a good experience but not exceptional.

The hotel is outdated, so much so that there is no plugs around the beds, the bed is really not comfortable, the bath seals are dirty and moldy. this hotel needs a major refurbishment!!!

Basic property, but does what you expect for the price. A bit outdated & could do with a bit of a upgrade, but was clean and safe. Pool was nice and gym was very well equipped. Breakfast was very busy and not very well laid out, so it was a bit of a stressful experience. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I really liked the young lady who worked in the cappuccino coffee bar. When I told her it was my birthday she went above and beyond to surprise me with a slice of cake on a plate with Happy Birthday on it. I was so happy walking into my room at night and seeing the surprise. I couldn’t wait to thank her the next day.

4 Stars at best.
Years ago this hotel was 5 stars. Today it is at best 4 Stars !! The hotel has the flavor of past glory, but today it is a bit tired. Rooms smell dusty and in my room the "fake wooden " floor was peeling. Breakfast was more like working camp canteen. Too many people, tables too close and actually a bit of chaos. Food was OK, but again - not 5 Stars.

The location was convinient. However, the hotel is old and tired, the rooms were very small even though we had the Captain's suite. The AC was noisy and not working well. The bed was tiny and the bathroom was old and tired. As for facilities, the breakfast was terrible with 1000s of people crammed in a small area. The food selection only suited Indian guests and the staff were extremely unfriendly. The wait area for Wallet was hot and unbearable.All in all a terrible experience.
