“Good hotel, good location”

Art’otel Dresden: is similar in style to others in the Art’otel brand (which we always seek out, if available), with clean, contemporary, arty design features. Staff very helpful. Very comfortable environment (the room, hotel and surroundings) – and situated very conveniently in a quiet area but so near the delights of the Altstadt with excellent transport links – tramways and nearness to Mitte bahnhof for S-Bahn and Regional Bahn links to the airport and the Elbe valley. The only downsides were the lack of safe in our room – and the price of breakfast. The latter was alleviated by a cheaper and excellent alternative at “Maximus” – just round the corner!

“Good but not Great in Dresden”

Hotel was clean and the staff were personable, but the Internet and Parking were expensive additional costs. The room was clean, generally well set out with a large bathroom and comfortable bed, although the desk/wardrobe combination was a little annoying.

“Expensive Internet”

Whilst this is a very good modern designer hotel, it is let down by the very high cost of their internet connection. Surely in a hotel that aspires to modernism, internet connectivity should be part of the package?
