The hotel itself was beautiful with modern, clean rooms, although the bathrooms were small. Within walking distance to Broadway which was a plus but the hotel also has a shuttle which we highly recommend -- the driver gives you a mini history tour and points out top attractions.
We were disappointed at the parking situation and frankly felt mislead by the charge. At checkin, we were told "Parking for guests is easy, just use your room key to get in and out of the garage!" and not once did they mention a price. We stayed one night and, inclusive of tax, payed close to $45 for parking (ouch).
This hotel was great! Would definitely recommend it to others. You are a short 5 minute walk away from everything in downtown Nashville. Including all the night life, restaurants, and tour pick up locations. We didn't need to rent a car during our downtown stay because everything was so easily accessible. Very fun weekend getaway. Rooms are clean, very comfortable, friendly stay, an overall great stay. Have nothing negative to say at all :)
We were especially pleased with the short walks to everything we wanted to see in the downtown area. Parking was easy and convenient. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate.
"New hotel in walking distance of almost everything"
Great place to stay! We were in Nashville for a couple of days and wanted to be in a place that was close to Broadway and Nashville night life, was clean, and had an outdoor pool. Hilton garden inn in downtown was just that. It is a new hotel in an area that seems to be seeing some development. Will stay there again when in town!
The hotel is within walking distances of downtown Nashville. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff gave helpful recommendations on restaurants and where to find a bottle of wine. We arrived at noon and our room was ready and they let us stay an hours past checkout time. I would stay here again.
On the banks of the Cumberland River, downtown Nashville is home to such popular attractions as the Ryman Auditorium (known as “The Mother Church of Country Music”), Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge (where stars like Willie Nelson were discovered), and the Country Music Hall of Fame. The State Capitol is also here, as is the home of the Tennessee Titans (football), who play at LP Field.
