The staff at the front reception were helpful and responded instantly when our safe wouldn't work. The bathroom was far too small for an extended stay, it had the shower and toilet in it and the hand basin was in the main room. There was barely enough room for the bed and not enough space for two suit cases. It would have been ok for a one night stop with very small baggage.
The breakfast was very good but the evening menu was limited.
The location was excellent within easy walking distance to the opera house, other restaurants and the major shopping distance.
The laundry service was excellent.
We stayed in an apartment belonging to the hotel 30metres away. Apartment was beautifully furnished with fully equipped kitchen which you share with two other rooms. Security was excellent.Apartment is huge with 2 lounge areas and a large dining area overlooking the square.
Staff were great especially Omar, the manager, who went out of his way to help us. They looked after our excess baggage for a week while we were away in the jungle. Breakfast was okay. Our only complaint is it is noisy in the square at night but a small price to pay.
"Clean quiet hotel close to Manaus historic centre"
Staff were very obliging. Toom was veryclean, if a little spartan.
Rom was a bit small, but quiet. In close proximity to Teatro Amazonas, and the historical centre, very convenient for sightseeing. Breakfast included made the morning get-away to the airport convenient.
This is a gem of a boutique hotel not five minutes walk from the iconic Manaus Opera House and a short distance from the waterfront. An excellent breakfast is included in the room price. Some of the most attractive rooms face the street but, if you need peace and quiet, ask for a room at the back. The double beds are the largest we've ever experienced! The manager speaks good English and is eager to assist with anything you need.
Downtown Manaus stretches to the shore of the Rio Negro. Find Amazonian produce and cuisine in the Mercado Municipal, a short journey from the port and marinas. Modern office buildings and residences mingle with historic structures such as the Teatro Amazonas, which hosts an annual opera festival, and Palacio Rio Negro. You can enjoy a meal of local fish dishes at Canto da Peixada.
