The room was not ready till 1 and 1/2 hours after the 3 PM check in time. It was clean, no carpet, tiled floors which makes it better for cleanliness but cold.
The beds were OK but not real comfortable. The worse part is that there is only a tiny closet to hang a few things and NO MORE STORAGE. No dressers, drawers, counters, no safe for valuables, etc. We had to live out of our suitcases. Thank God this was only a 3 night stay. There are 3 buildings and only 1 ice machine for the whole hotel in building A second floor next to the laundry room. A lot of the guests were sloppy and left slippers and wet towels outside their rooms (not to mention Qtips and other personal items) and for days the hotel personnel didn't do anything about it which made the place look trashy.
Nice terrace and lounging area around and above the swimming pool. Why its called a Resort I don't know. I guess the swimming pool makes it one!!
Wonderful place! Two rooms, three bathrooms, beautiful view over a pond. Activities each day for guests. Got a discount on tickets with free breakfast buffet at a restaurant. Kitchen was stocked with the dishes. Able to do laundry. Could feed ducks.
Only thing I didn't like was the dryer being WAY to small for a Villa that sleeps 6 people. Generate a lot of dirty laundry with clothes, towels etc and the dryer us a lot smaller than the washer.
Drive to Disney and Sea World was easy to get to. Not a lot of traffic. Really enjoyed the stay and the price was great! Highly recommend for families who are staying for an extended period.
Villas at Fortune Place is the place to stay and play. Guests can enjoy the lake view from the back porch or venture out to …More
Kissimmee’s downtown is chockablock with historic buildings. The city’s courthouse, dedicated in 1890, is Florida’s oldest courthouse still in use. Lake cruises depart from the city’s waterfront perch on Lake Tohopekaliga. The lake is a bird haven, and its big-mouth bass lure anglers. Feral hogs, turkeys, and white-tailed deer roam south of Kissimmee at the Three Lakes Wildlife Management Area.
