I felt very welcome by all the Hotel staff; starting with the reception. guest relations manager, and the ground staff.
The lounge bar and restaurant was an added plus to welcome friends. It felt like being at home. The location was ideal because it is just across from the railway station, where the train from the airport arrives. It was also convenient being not too far from the UN Agencies and of walking distance to the town centre and the lake.
A very warm thank you to all for a very pleasant stay. I hope to be back again soon.
We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel N'vy while visiting Geneva for a few days. The hotel itself is down a side street, and was initially difficult to find, but very close to the lake and to the Butini tram stop for travel into the city.
Our room was comfortable, with a good-sized bed (including some modern artwork over the bed) and nice bathroom.
On the first night, we chose to eat in the hotel, which was a choice well-made. The menu was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. After delicious starters, we tried the tomahawk steak for two, which was succulent and tender, being carved at the table for us by the waiting staff.
The breakfast selection was good, including some gluten-free options, and again the staff were polite and helpful every morning. The breakfast price was a little high at 30 Fr each, but not really any different from other hotels or compared to Geneva prices.
"Great hotel. Easy walk to train station and sites"
Stayed for 1 night in mid-July with my wife. Had to leave early to catch a flight.
Friendly staff with good English. No waiting, received train station advice, paid room upgrade offered.
Hotel facilities, condition: Very sharp. Comfortable bed on par with Westin, anti-fog bathroom mirror, rainwater shower head, plug adapter provided, hair dryer didn't require holding the button down the whole time.
Wi-Fi signal was strong enough on second floor to maintain connection. Internet speed was good.
Air conditioning worked well.
Breakfast starts at 7 am so we could not partake due to our early flight.
Fit for purpose, clean, friendly staff (most of them), excellent buffet breakfast. Hotel is close to the central station and within walking distance to Lake Geneva, Manor (major shopping center). I would definitely recommend it to others.
Geneva’s centre is full of cobblestoned streets, flower-decked fountains, and shuttered grey-stone houses. Museums, boutiques, bistros, and archaeological sights cluster around Place du Bourg-de-Four and the nearby Cathedral St Pierre. The neighbouring church is the Temple de l’Auditoire. The 14th-century Maison Tavel, Geneva’s oldest house, contains a local history museum.
