For the night of my wedding I chose the Ashton because of its old time charm. As soon as you walk in you just get that clean classy and very relaxed feel. I wanted to check In a little early to set the room up for when me and my now wife arrived. The staff made check in so easy and they were very friendly and accommodating from check in to check out. Any special occasion, or just in town be sure to check out the Ashton.
As soon as I arrived I was most pleased with everything, the front desk Staff was most accommodating and helpful. They gave us a map of nearby places we could walk and eat and told us about the shuttle that would take us where we wanted to go free of charge. At Breakfast in the mornings the staff were very friendly and went out of they're way to help anyone out.

If you want to stay in the heart of Sundance Square you can't do better than Etta's Place. I have worked downtown for 28 years and never knew about this Bed & Breakfast. Found it while searching on trip advisor. Just $169 which includes parking in garage down the street and a breakfast along with a nice room. Staff was very accommodating and friendly and I will definitely plan to stay there again.
I ended up getting booked at the wrong hotel (be careful around Dallas - many hotels have very similar names), but the staff here were great. They understood my plight and helped me figure out where I needed to be. They went the extra mile and I appreciate their help. (Seriously, though, there are multiple TownPlace Suites - one of our conference presenters had the same thing happen and ended up in the wrong hotel, too. Check the names carefully)

Pocket Guide: Fort Worth Downtown Fort Worth Hotels
Sundance Square is downtown Fort Worth’s signature destination. Here, visitors can shop, dine, and sleep in historic buildings in a 14-block area. One of the city’s gems, though, opened only in 2001. Despite its age, the Bass Performance Hall was built to match its old-time surroundings. Two 48-foot angels guard the main entrance. The Fort Worth Convention Center lies at the foot of Main Street.
