A really lovely hotel. We had a really great stay, were there for business plus a little bit of shopping at the nearby Dubai Mall. The staff are extremely pleasant and professional. The room was very comfortable - we were given the chance to upgrade for a small extra fee (100DHS per day) to a bigger sea view room on the 32 floor. It was very worth it. The huge marble bathroom came with a deep soaking tub (plus lovely bath salts), separate marble shower, and toilet with sliding door, lovely towels and lots and lots of toiletries. Fluffy bathrobes and slippers in the closets, well stocked mini bar, fresh fruit that replenished daily. The daily breakfast buffet downstairs in the cafe that came with the room was the best and most extensive we have ever had - and we have had a lot. Plenty of hot breakfast foods, omelette station, 4 kinds of dim sum, fresh pastry and bread, cheeses, fruits, juices, fresh brewed coffee - just the best and not to be missed. We ate at Junoon the Indian fusion New York offshoot and loved the food. The Dubai mall is very close for shopping, close to Jumeirah and on Shaikh Zayed Road. A pharmacy that delivers just down the street. We loved every minute of our comfortable stay and thank the Shangri La very much.

Nice hotel , located in burj Khalefa walking distance to Dubai mall, with a special entrance from the hotel. I had two rooms one of them didn't have any view but the other was ok. I would come back for sure. It's s little bit quieter than the other hotels such as the address hotels
Great place to stay if you're looking to be close to night life, burj al arab, metro is just downstairs to go to burj Khalifa and mall. They have a club inside. Loved the executive lounge, so worth it with tons of perks! Great waiters/waitress George and Elizabeth were both amazing at the executive lounge! Loved this place, and not too pricey of a stay for all they offer
Covering 2-square km, Downtown Dubai is set between Sheikh Zayed Road and Business Bay with Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, as its centerpiece. Dubai Fountain, the world's largest fountain, performs intricately choreographed shows complete with light and music. Nearby, the Dubai Mall offers an expansive aquarium, ice rink, and shopping.
