My wife and I stayed here in December 2011 for five nights, whilst we were touring Argentina. We had a pleasent stay at the hotel, which boasts to be a four star hotel, although if you think good quality three star (by European & American standards), then your expectations will be about right. Prior to staying here, I read a number of negative reviews on Trip Advisor and found them to be unreliable. This hotel is clean, then beds are comfortable and the facilities are as advertised. The rooms are a little on the small side and were very much in need of air-conditioning, -particularly since there were also signs on the windows, requesting that windows were not left open, due to the winds. I was also disapointed that the hotel makes an additional surcharge for the Spa facilities.

The Hotel Panarmericano was very well maintained and clean. The bed was comfortable and we had a great view of the lake. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were friendly and worked very hard to help us set-up excursions and provided great advise about re-arranging our travel itinerary when we could not get bus tickets to Valdivia, Chile. I highly recommend this hotel.
"Apartment style hotel with kitchen on busy street."
This is a limited service apartment style hotel. No breakfast included in our rate. The attraction for us was the kitchen. After a month traveling it was a nice change to cook our own meals.
The rooms are large.
However, our room was on a noisy street. We asked to move but they had no others available. At night a huge security spot light came on pointed directly at our front window.
Location is in walking distance from town center but up a steep hill. Lots of restaurants , shops nearby. If you really want to be in Bariloche( nothing special in Bariloche, we would stay outside of town next time on the lake) and you want a kitchen this might be an option but ask for a room off the road.

We stayed for 3 nights in June. We were allocated a room on the third floor . After hauling our 25kg bags up the stairs, we arrived at our room and it was boiling hot! We slept with the window open every night.
The kitchen was well equipped with lots of crockery and cutlery but limited on smaller size pots etc.
Host smoked right outside front door which wafted through eating area. Very unpleasant.
Host spoke very good english.
The view outside the bedroom window was exceptional!
Good value accommodation for the price.
Cristal Hotel was a little out dated but the rooms were spacious, comfortable beds, and right in the heart of the city center.
I would not recommend it for those wanting lake views, this was more of a business hotel. Definitely not recommended for those wanting to relax.
Head to Design Suites to relax and enjoy lake views!

"Near the city and restaurants ... Beautiful view ."
Very good experience , good breakfast , bad wi fi signal , but it was a great experience ... In my opinion one of the top 5 hotels in town ... THe bar and restaurants have a nice food . The hotewl should have a 24hr room service .
The hotel is centrally located, the rooms are large and comfy. the staff is very supportive.
Breakfast if excellent. The food in the hotel is good. However there are excellent restaurants near by with outstanding steaks and good wine.
