We LOVE the Ca' Maria Adele Hotel. My wife and I had just completed a 12-day Mediterranean cruise and decided to spend one additional day in Venice. We arrived at the hotel at about 10:30 am, planning to leave our luggage and return later to check in. The hotel apologized because it would be approximately 30 minutes before our room was ready. We were escorted to a small beautifully decorated sitting room where we were served champagne, and Cappuccino with a lite snack. Within 30 minutes we were escorted to our room, a spacious beautifully decorated suite. It is hard to believe that we could have chosen a better place to stay in Venice; the staff was warm, friendly and extremely helpful. The amenities of the room and hotel included specialty ordered breakfast and a well stocked mini-bar. Our stay at the hotel also included a private water taxi to transport us to the Island of Murano for a private tour of the Murano Glass Factory. The location of the hotel was perfect (facing the Basilica Ca' Maria Adele (by the Salute vaporetto stop)) enough out of the tourist path to be peaceful, yet close enough to access all of Venice quickly. St Marks Square was directly across the canal from us, a 5-minute waterbus ride. My only regret is that we did not arrange to stay longer. We will return on our next trip to Venice.
We stayed here 2 nights. Incredible historic house with many Venetian architectural details, statuary, and mosaics. The patio on the grand canal was a great place to eat or hang with a drink, though you do have to fend off the pigeons. Room was cramped but comfortable. The A/C was controlled by a central control, and changes had to be requested over the phone, as explained by the porter. I didn't like that all the water, juice, etc. in the mini fridge was extra. It's a little thing, but come on. Immediately next to the vaporetto stop, which was convenient. We also stayed at Ca Marie Adele, which we liked better for several reasons.
very nice hotel, near one of the main bridges that you need to cross to get anywhere in venice so very good for location. there is a great pizza place just nearby for food on the go. the staff are lovely and the owner is a really nice lady too. definitely recommend this hotel
We stayed at this hotel for three nights in July. Right from the off the staff were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. We were given a map of Venice and the receptionist took time to explain the local attractions and their location. We were shown to our room by Luigi who carefully explained all the features of the room. The room was plenty big enough and the bathroom was clean and long, with a deluge shower at the end. The room had air conditioning and there wasn't a hint of mosquitoes, which had been a concern of ours prior to travel. The breakfast was very good: as well as the usual continental fare I managed to find a metal tray holding bacon, sausage and scrambled egg!
To get to the hotel from Marco Polo airport, we bought a return ticket on the Venice Express bus from the ATVO window (15 euros). After a 25 minute direct journey we arrived at Piazzale Roma and bought a 72 hour vaporetto (water bus) ticket for 40 euros each at the Hello Venice window. The vaporettos are just down the adjacent steps. If you can't work out which vaporetto to take in which direction, go for the No. 2 because it either goes anti-clockwise and you get off at Zaterre, or clockwise and you get off at Accademia.
"Quiet, comfortable in Dorsudoro centre by Zattere"
We stayed 3 days and enjoyed a very comfortable room overlooking the garden.
With temperatures in the 30s the AC was very effective and quiet, and we always had a good night's sleep. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, and vaporetto close at hand at either S.Basilio or Ca'Rezzonica. Depending on the local authorities it is possible to get a taxi to Marco Polo from 200 yds from the hotel, as its close to the port and when we were there access to taxis was allowed. Never had an easier journey back for €85.
"Nice Hotel clean and comfortable, lovely breakfast"
This Hotel has a great location close to Vapporeto and San Marco short walk. It has a lovely seating area outside and pleasant garden. Beds changed every day and comfortable also air conditioning. Lovely area if you turn right outside close to Grand Canal. Turn left and again Grand Canal just 50 metres away.
I would stay here again, friendly.

The hotel Belle Arti enjoys an ideal location in the heart of Venice, in the enchanting Dorsoduro area, between Zattere …More
Beautiful little hotel. Close to the major sites yet quiet. Smart to stay in Dosidoro, not crowded San Marco section. Good staff and helpful recommendations on restaurants and transportation options. Good breakfast buffet in very nice setting.
Dorsoduro is home to the great art institutions of the Gallerie dell'Accademia and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and the landmark church of Santa Maria della Salute. However those who take the time to explore the area, and particularly the eastern section, will find some of Venice’s most picturesque squares and alleys. The area also benefits from the influence of the university with some lively bars and nightlife (rare in Venice).
