Very Pleasant.

Posted 20-Dec-2014
Pros: Location to beach and the friendliness of the staff.
Cons: WIFI should be available in rooms and not just public areas.
Location: Was only there for one night and for business reasons. Beach is right on the doorstep and only a short walk to the town.
Very clean and comfortable room with was upgraded to a room with a sea view. All staff were extremely polite and friendly. WIFI was only available in public areas. Bar prices seemed very pricey. Would stay here again.

Eine sehr erholsame Woche!

Posted 26-Oct-2014
Pros: Es war gemütlich eingerichtet, super Lage, direkt am Meer mit herrlichem Blick aufs Meer!!!!!!! Sehr gutes Frühstück, immer frisch aufgefüllt.
Cons: Nein, alles prima!
Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Posted 01-Oct-2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: the lift

Great location and staff

Posted 01-Oct-2014 on Hotels.com
For the price I paid, it was an absolute bargain. Comfortable beds, and nice bed linen. Towels lovely and soft. Lovely to be upgraded to a sea view- so thank you ! If I had been paying full price ( I was paying Sunday night rate), then I would have wanted the chest of drawers repaired ( handle missing). It felt odd having a shower cubicle with a shower curtain. Overall, great stay- lady on the desk when I arrived ( Sunday 28 Sept 4pm) was very helpful and had great customer service. Fab location right on sea front, close to beach access via Toft Zigzag

Last minute booking!

Posted 30-Sep-2014
Pros: The price!
Cons: The socket for our tv didn't work. Ventilation wasn't great, the window didn't open much?
Location: We were opposite the beach but with no access to the beach so we drove to the town centre and parked in the carpark and enjoyed a day on the beach.
This was a last minute booking as we were invited to a 50th birthday and decided we would prefer to stay over rather than driving back. We had to settle for a double room without a view as that was all that was available and for how long we were going to be there it really didn't matter. Our room was small / basic but the bathroom was quite large, modern and bright. Our breakfast was very good and set us up for the day! Overall a good experience.

Faded hotel but across road from beach

Posted 17-Sep-2014
Pros: It's location. Was able to park (limited, but I got a space). Staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: Decor is old and not appealing. Needs a complete refurbishment as it's dated and not elegant.
Location: Across the road from the beach. Russell Coates Museum. Great brasserie in it's sister hotel.
I was just there for one night in a single room, that was really a box room. Didn't mind that as one night only but bllind in bathroom was full of dust when I rolled it down and I didn't dare look too closely at anything else in case it was dirty. Room light a bit dim. Location is great for the beach. Breakfast was good. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Nice staff and location, dated hotel

Posted 12-Sep-2014
Leaky taps, creaky floorboards that keep you awake, paper thin walls, dated decor all add up to a hotel that needs money invested. The staff, location and breakfast were all very good, shame about the building
