“A great place to stay.”

I couldn't have been made more welcome. The location was perfect for my needs and the room everything I wanted and expected. Extra touches - such as bottled water in the room and DVDs available to borrow were much appreciated.

You just cannot feel awkward or nervous here as the proprieters are the most welcoming and tolerant people we have ever met!!!!

“WARNING ;-)”

WARNING......The Clarence has that welcome home feeling. Karen and Richard exceeded in making our stay as relaxed as possible in a very comfortable, clean and well located hotel. Fantasticly huge modern shower (Room 4). The beach and other amenities are minutes away. The breakfast layout caters for everyones taste and the "Full English" is cooked to order with any combination you want, superb. We heartily recommend the Clarence !

“Outstanding”

Excellent location. Close to the beach, harbour, town centre, bars and restaurants. Rooms are spotlessly clean, modern, well maintained with good facilities (flatscreen TV, DVD player, coffee/tea-making facilities, bottled water, etc). Owners (Karen & Richard) are lovely - welcoming, friendly, helpful and do a great breakfast. As frequent travellers, we experience many hotels and can honestly say that this is a true gem. Two visits to date and third already booked.
