“Delighted!”
My (adult) daughter and I were made to feel most welcome and the staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. The room was very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely, and the chef agreed to change the menu for me at breakfast - much appreciated and it was perfect. Btw, you can have continental AND full English! The staff kindly agreed to let us leave our bags in the room and after spending the afternoon fossil hunting in Charmouth, and getting sopping wet, we were allowed to return to the room to dry out. That was a life saver as we had to journey back to London that day. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for courtesy, comfort and culinary delight!
“Lovely location”
The location of the Bay was exactly as expected right on the Waterfront with impressive views of the Cobb. The views from the room and during breakfast were excellent. On the negative side the suite we had was a strange lay out with the ensuite right next to the head of the bed. Friendly staff were helpful but this is a small hotel with a number of space issues.
