Really hot. No A.C, no ventilation. No cold water. Make really difficult to sleep in at warn night.

Pros: Good location.
Cons: Modernise it.
We where allocated a room at the back of the hotel with one double bed and a camp bed even tho we had requested a double and 2 singles. They managed to change it when we pointed this out to them but wish we hadn't because the noise from residents that evening was so loud that we couldn't sleep. Our room was just above the bar and because it was a lovely warm evening groups of people were sitting outside. After 11.30 we complained to reception about the noise but it took them 3/4 hour and 3 phone calls to do anything about it. Original say window so no sound proofing.

Everything in that hotel is tired and need renovation but it is not to bad when u compare quality to money you have to pay for it. Bathtub get stuck and no water pressure from the shower apart from that rest is acceptable for SHORT stay.

Pros: The receptionist was very friendly and happy to help.
Cons: The check out time could be later and the quality of the food could be improved.
Location: It is in a good location, near to the town and also the beach.
The hotel staff were very friendly but the bar was left unattended for some time and some guests were quite annoyed about this. Some of the chairs in the bar area had upholstery which was peeling off and looked unsightly, also the tables were not wiped clean while we were there. The check out time of 10am is much too early and the breakfast was not very palatable.

Pros: Close to Eastcliff zigzag for access to beach, close to Lansdowne for shops, cafes, bars
Travelling on business, all l usually need is a quiet room, a comfortable bed, wi-fi in my room, a hot shower, and tea/ coffee facilities. I usually book a single room, for cost reasons, so I don't always get much space, let aIone a desk or writing surface Bed was comfortable, but wi-fi didn't reach the room, and there was no work space in any case, There was a nest of pigeons in the roof which did not lead to a quiet room. The shower was hot, but very low pressure. Breakfast was very basic and finished by 0930, which might be a bit early for holiday makers.

U could of put us in a bigger room n wid out stairs as it was very difficult wid wheelchair Also put us in a non smoking room even though I req for a smoking room

Location: Good location. Quick walk to beach, bars and restaurants!
This hotel is horrible! Very dirty, staff not very helpful at all. I couldnt even have a proper shower as the water was either boiling hot or cold! I complained and they said they would get someone to check and then ignore me! dont waste ur money!

Too dusty room , staff did max , but not enough . Interior 80' s look , two night £198 , comfort max £98 only sorry we Will not go for a second chance to this hotel .

The hotel it old and in need of deep refurbishment. It needs painting, the wall paper is peel in off, mismatched carpets in the room, holes in the bedroom wall, damaged sofas in the bar, no barman, poor food but most annoying was that the photos are misleading. Quite happy to stay in a poor hotel if that it the plan but being mislead is another thing.

Pros: Friendly staff and eager to help, food was good.
Cons: maintenance of the hotel
Location: walking distance of town centre and beach if you are fit, we used our car as I was 65 but enjoyed a walk in town shopping.
our stay at the hotel was ok for 3 star hotel decoration good but our bedroom door was sticking, found it hard to open do, this was reported to reception they said they will sort it. staff were friendly and polite,. the food was average for a buffet, breakfast and evening meal. as a travel agent for paycation I would have to pass on our findings to our customers, overall it was good.
