“Best hotel for guest welcome and service”

We had come from a hotel in Brighton the Mercure which was awful and the contrast here with the Marriott Bournemouth could not have been greater. From the minute we entered until we left the staff were extremely helpful and the customer care standards the highest we have experienced anywhere. We could not name an individual as every member of staff was friendly and went out of their way to be pleasant

very friendly helpfull staff, modern clean spacious room. food and drinks tasty and well presented, with an amazing choice for breakfast, which ended up being 5 courses in our case !!! just a shame they couldnt stretch to fix the weather

Very comfortable hotel in the perfect location for the beach and the town.

“Excellent location ... no airconditioning or it wouldn't work”

The hotel was well located with good views and excellent service by the staff. Very helpful and knowledgeable about where to go and eat. The only frustration was the room was warmer than we like and the airconditioning did not work or was not turned on centrally (most likely). We called, they came and still no air. You should not be allowed to advertise airconditioning when it is only turned on at the hotel's convenience.

“Wonderful hotel with exceptional staff”

We booked two sea view rooms for our family of four over the Easter weekend. The view of the sea and the beach was spectacular and we could hear the waves from our rooms. The hotel location is overlooking the beach, which is a 5 minute walk downhill or alternatively a short scenic elevator ride. The town centre is a further 5 minutes, via a pleasant walk through a park. We paid a supplement to have breakfast included and were pleased with the quality and variety of choices on offer. We made use of the indoor hotel swimming pool and jacuzzi which was clean and well supervised with fresh towels and changing facilities provided. We also booked some spa treatments and can recommend the stone massage and facial treatments...very relaxing. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel with its location, facilities and exceptional staff. Most certainly would stay again.

“Incredibly friendly staff.”

It's an old seaside hotel which could do with cheering up and updating in places but is still very pleasant and offers all the usual things I have come to expect from a Marriot. The best thing about the stay was the staff who were incredibly friendly and helpful, including all the cleaneers and support staff

“A great weekend”

We had a great weekend at the Bournemouth Highcliff Hotel, I would highly recommend it. The location is good and the staff very friendly. The car parking is fairly limited.
