“Ok when on a budget”

From the reviews I read before going to this hotel I was not expecting much just looking for a good bargain for a girls weekend to Door County. The location is a bit of a drive to wineries and other Door County Activities but not that far. The room was clean for the most part, but not the best I have been to by any means. The pool and hot tub were nice. The breakfast was not very good at all. There is make your own waffles which sounded like it would be good but the syrup was horrible. If you are just looking for cold cereal and juice this will work. By far the worst part of this hotel was the staff...they were impolite and not at all courtious when asking for the proper amount of towels in your room for the amount of ppl staying in it or extra pillows. They were just rude. They assumed that becuase we were a younger group we would be disruptive. We were there to have a good time but we are adults not children and we were not looking for someone to chaperone out trip. Great hotel for a very cheep price, couldn't beat that part!

“I would not recommend this hotel.”

When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was that it isn't in a very nice area. The guy at the desk was very nice and helpful. When we found our room, the lock looked like it had been forced opened at some point and now was replaced. The door wasn't even closed all the way and we just had to push it to open it. Once inside, we noticed the door also had a chain lock on the door (how comforting to know that if we leave, our belongings are not safe at all). The room had a TERRIBLE smell. It was in great need of remodelling and updating. The only reason we stayed after all of this was because we were only staying one night and I thought we could handle it. The next morning, the breakfast was fine. I tried to get more towels and shampoo from the housekeeper in the hallway, and she could not speak English and she had to point to her cart to figure out what we needed. The next time I will definately spend a few more dollars to get nicer accomodations.

“Needs to reduce room prices.”

I was in the area to compete in the Door County Triathlon. It was a great location but what we paid for this hotel was twice the price it was worth. Nothing outstanding. The bathroom needed help. The shower faucet handle fell off. My mother had an extremely hard time getting the water temperature right because of this. The toilet wasn't flushing in the morning which was really gross. The mattress was low quality and the sheets were scratchy. It would be 2.5-3 stars out of 5.

“Peace and quiet”

This is our 4th stay here. We have found the staff to be friendly and hard working. The hotel was quiet and we slept well. Our only issue was with the variety in the breakfast items. Some yogurt, hard boiled eggs or other cereal choices would be nice.

“Less than adequate”

Hotel had outdated rooms, Our room smelled and big stains on chairs by table. Asked for a febreeze type spray to get rid of smell. Sheets had stains on them. Hotel and rooms need renovating. Housekeeping folding sheets in lobby when we arrived. Not much else to say.

“AAAAAAAAAAAA number one satisfaction.”

Can`t wait to return again.

“Average hotel”

It's true what they say..."you get what you pay for." The hotel was average with very limited ammenities. We were disappointed that it didn't have wi-fi. At least it had a nice pool and hot tub. I would stay here again if necessary, but will try to find other accommodations in the area.
