“Great hotel”

I went there after the recommendations here, And i wasn't disappointed, I would recommend it, Just so you know it is 25 minutes from the airport

“Will stay here again if returning”

Hotel is far enough away from centre of Ljubljana to avoid getting in and out of the city. Convenient rail station within 15 minutes walk and cheap rail fares avoiding the problems of parking. Hotel location is very quiet and the hotal staff are very friendly and helpful and all speak good English. Staff happy to research places to visit for the best times and programmes. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Room is quiet and comfortable and any problems are quickly dealt with. Choice of restaurants nearby, within walking distance, avoiding the need for a car as the beer is cheap. To return to the area, would be most happy to stay at the same hotel again.

Very convenient to travel to surrounding areas of outstanding natural beauty, the mountains, rivers, lakes, including Lakes Bled and Bohinj. Various mountain roads good for spectacular scenery. Driving roads good and for pedeal cyclists, very popular. Domzale is conveniently located near to motorway with access to all routes to mountains and Koper on the coast, of which there are 46km. Lipica is where the Lipizzaner horses are kept and bred, well worth a visit, and the Skocjanske caves are spectacular

“'' Very nice hotel ''”

The hotel was very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. For someone who wish to stay at Ambient hotel a car is needed. It is 10 minutes walking to the next bus stop to Ljubiana and then half an hour by bus to the capital. I think it was to far from the Lujbiana city

“Nice Surprise”

Great little family hotel, friendly check in/check out, wonderful buffet breakfast. Hotel is new, very clean and very well maintained. Hotel is just outside of great city of Ljubljana, maybe 10-15 minutes with an easy motorway access. This location might not be very convenient if you do not have your own transportation but there are frequent buses and some train connections with the city. Front desk can also arrange for taxi (preferred in order to get fair pricing). Overall I have been very satisfied and I will definitely return when I am back in Ljubljana area.

“Great place”

This hotel was great. It is a little ways outside of town, so I suggest having a car... besides, Slovenia is so much nicer by car. You will definitely enjoy it more. The hotel has impeccably well kept grounds. They have a nice lounge area out back with a nice stream running along side it. They have free internet in the rooms. The bathrooms are perfect. The bed was comfortable. They have TV with 3 English channels. They have a massage service on the 1st floor, and it is totally worth it. If you just flew in, or drove for days like I did, the massage was perfect and worth the money. For a nice back massage it was around 1E per minute or so, and it was worth it. Totally worth it. If I'm ever in Slovenia again, I'll be here. You can find me out back with a cold beer.

“Nice hotel”

Area recommendations
Lubjiana is a very pretty city. People are very friendly and is very safe for visitors. Furthermore locals tend to be very honest regarding prices in restaurants, bars etc. They charged the same price as locals. Overall, Lubjiana is a sort of gem of central Europe.

“Super clean, extremely friendly”

Super clean, extremely friendly, great hospitality....all that you need for a quite stay just about 10 min outside of town. Also, within walking distance of all travel needs, restaurants ect.

“clean and comfortable hotel to stay”

This is a clean and comfortable hotel to stay, with a acceptable rate. The only thing I don't like so much is its location. it's better you have your own car, otherwise it will be very inconvenient.

“...when travelling with a vehicle...”

You get your money's worth at this hotel. The location of the hotel (approx. 10 KM) from the city is a drawback if you are not travelling by car. The massage services on site are very good. I would definately choose this hotel again.

“Good budget hotel”

Beautiful location, nice small hotel. Good budget hotel for business travel. Very clean rooms and comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. Offers free transportation to LJU airport.
