We only stayed overnight but Carina was a wonderful host. She was very flexible with our late check-in, arranging taxis and even made dinner for us upon our arrival. The room was simple but nice. The grounds were beautiful - could hear the stream flowing below.

We had a great stay at Serenity Lodge. The airport transfer by Serenity Lodge after arriving late in the evening was much appreciated. They arranged to have a dinner ready for us once we arrived and before we went to bed . The food was amazing and exceeded any expectations we had! We woke up to see beautiful mountain views that we hadn't seen in the night when we got in. It looked like there was a hammock outside of each room, as well as a kitchenette available to each room for use for a small payment if needed. We'll absolutely stay there again!

Beautiful, stress-free stay
This place is less like a lodge and more like being hosted by a wonderful local family that shares their home and their culture. There are beautiful views every morning at breakfast and Carina will accommodate any dietary restrictions (I am vegan and gluten free). Having the tours coordinated in-house made the second half of my trip stress-free not having to navigate the bus system or pay excessive fees for taxis.

It’s a family run business, everyone was friendly and easy to deal with. It’s out of the hustle and bustle of Marigot but an easy drive. It’s quiet and beautiful.

Peaceful getaway
Our stay at Serenity Lodges was nothing short of “Formidable”. The location is perfect. A short distance from the airport. Near the main road for a bus ride to Roseau. Minutes from a water fall and river. The site is beautifully maintained with fruit trees throughout and a 360 Majestic view of surrounding mountains. Our hosts were accommodating, flexible and helpful beyond measure to us first timers in Dominica. They are good cooks too. The homemade pizza was finger licking good. Our Lime Squash 2 room was spacious and clean. We would recommend to anyone celebrating an anniversary or looking for a getaway with nature in Dominica.

The property is only 10 minutes from the airport and there is a shuttle service if you ask in advance. We liked the peace and quiet with views of the mountains. The garden was lovely with various fruit trees and beautiful flowers. Breakfasts and dinners were healthy and delicious. We took a bus from Concorde to Roseau every day and because my husband's leg was painful, Lester would take us to the nearest bus stop to catch the bus and he would pick us up from the main road where the bus would drop us in the evening. We appreciated that very much.

A lovely, peaceful retreat conveniently quite close to the airport (particularly recommended for late night arrivals or early morning departures). The couple that runs the place are quite hospitable, with the wife providing delicious meals on request and the husband graciously offering to stick around the airport when my flight was cancelled and helped me to make alternative arrangements. Whether you'd prefer to be left alone or spend some time chatting with, and learning from, your hosts, it's a great Dominica option at a reasonable price.

I stayed at the property over night as I had a connecting flight the next morning. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and made me feel at home. They served a late night dinner and 6 am breakfast which were both delicious and reasonably priced. The rooms are very clean and well cared for. The area is extremely quiet so I had a good nights sleep. The property is also very close to the airport. Taxi service is $20 each way. I would return here whenever I am in Dominica again.

We are still perplex with this review though as everything appeared to be good when we checked you in. You were very satisfied. We wished you had let us know if you had a problem, we would of done our best to fix it. We are not sure also what was listed that was not given. In any event, we wish you the best in your travels. We at least hope you enjoyed the island. For other guest reading this review, we urge you to please let the host know if you are having a problem, or are not satisfied with some part of your accommodation. There are somethings that can be fix immediately and other things that can be improve for future guest. We did our best for this guest, yet the review was terrible and yet we have no idea what went wrong. Can’t improve if we do not know. Thank you all for those who have stayed with us and have enjoyed it.

We’re dissatisfied that we had made arrangements to have dinner on the night of arrival, verified that upon reservation and the day before arrival and the day of arrival. Upon arrival was informed that “restaurant was closed.” No food available and no nearby restaurants. Was never contacted before hand so we did not have the opportunity to eat before arrival. Very disappointing

This is an awesome out of the way property for beautiful views, friendly hosts, great food, and peace & quiet. This property is not for those seeking a luxury hotel. The rooms are spartan but quite comfortable and affordable. The meals are delicious, the property is beautiful with beautiful views....and Carina and Lester are gracious accommodating hosts. Recommended highly for those seeking nature, peace, and quiet without luxury frills. I will be back.

Hosts were helpful and friendly. Beautiful view. Cooked me a excellent meal. Had fans if it became too warm. A little cooler then the ocean locations because of increase in elevation, it makes for a more comfortable sleep with windows open. Clean room and comfortable beds. Had a nice hammock in front of your door if you wanted to relax outside.

We booked a stay at this property ahead of time and received confirmation via mail and text. We then spent the next day hiking and did not have wifi as it is sparse on the island. Once we showed up to check in we were informed that our booking had been cancelled due to an accidental overbooking and that they couldn't accommodate us. They had emailed us to tell us ahead of time but had not attempted to call the phone number we had provided to keep us informed.

Quiet place, wonderful food!
The owners of this quiet, beautiful property are very charming and welcoming. We spent two nights here, and our room was very clean and comfortable. We also had dinners and breakfasts with our hosts, and the food was wonderful! The property is up a hill off the main road, so it was much quieter than our first night in Dominica. The owners have done a great job of fixing up the place, and we would definitely stay here again!

That's why we suggest a taxi pick up from the airport or ferry if you are coming at night and have your car rental deliver your vehicle the following day at the lodge. The name says it all
This place is a hidden gem! My fiancé, a native of Dominica, and I stayed here for two nights after a last minute flight cancellation! I was very pleased with the service, food, cleanliness, scenery, area...everything! It's up a very steep hill which means it's secluded...which is absolutely fine with me. Especially after spending a week in the hustle and bustle of being in Roseau and the surrounding villages! this place is located around unlimited fruit trees where the fruit is free to you if you are willing to climb a tree or two or if you are good at throwing stones lol! Also, the best thing about this place is that it's a five minute 5 walk from a nice, cold fresh water river good for swimming and bathing! I will definitely return!

Great place to stay near the airport
We stayed at Serenity Lodges for the evening on our last night in Dominica, before an early flight the next morning. It is convenient for a short drive to the airport, and other spots on the East coast. The room was clean, the hosts were welcoming and friendly, dinner was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Everything we could ask for!

Great hotel with great service
Owners are very nice and can reserve a tour with them around the island. Hotel is in a pretty isolated location so may need a car to get around.

Absolutely amazing place
This place is amazing. It's only a few miles from the airport but is isolated, has amazing scenery, and is reasonably priced. I had a short trip to Dominica so I didn't have much time to lounge around at the hotel - I wish I did.

Peaceful, Relaxing and a pleasure to stay.
The guest house/hotel was absolutely beautiful and extremely relaxing. Food is home cooked and quite delicious. The hosts are just very friendly and graciously attentive to the personal needs. Having stayed over a month on the island of Dominica this is the one place that I will stay at again on my next visit. I have traveled all over the world and this is a must stay place.

Serenity Lodges Concord.
I was in Dominica for one week and stayed at Serenity Lodges for the whole of my stay. There are three lodges and a dining area attached to the owners accommodation. Whilst the lodges offer relatively simple facilities they are set in a wonderful location. They are kept spotlessly clean by the owners Carina, Lester and their new assistant Mary. I had breakfast and dinner at the lodges on most days and I advised Carina prior to booking that I required a vegetarian option for all meals. I can honestly say that Carina went to great lengths to provide excellent variety for the meals and all from local produce. Carina's cooking was delicious! I also had some great conversations with Lester who provided lot's of information to me about Dominica that enabled me to fill holes in my knowledge about the island. If one is looking for spotlessly clean accommodation at a reasonable price in Dominica then Serenity Lodges are well worth considering.

Tropical Retreat
The lodges were tuckd away in a very cool and idyllic spot. It took approximately 15 minutes from Marigot Airport to the hotel which was perfect after travelling for nearly 15 hours. I slept like a baby and enjoyed a fantastic caribbean breakfast the next morning. I will definately be staying again in the future.

This is a cosy small place, run by a nice couple. They give you great service and tip of what to do. They offer pickup and dropoff to the airport. I pull the rate down a little because the electrical shower that dont really provide you with hot water. They are not really good. A the moment I was there, they got no wifi yet. Maybe it's comming. Tip: Rent car in Dominica - the best way to see and explore the island.

Friendly, clean and green vibe
Carina and Denis take care of this green lodge very carefully. They will welcome and host you with a warm smile. These young and friendly owners will help you with anything you may need. Lovely and very clean rooms with a hammack at each door to chill in Caribean style.

Localisation et service excellent!
J'ai réservé 2 nuits en Dominique aux Serenity Lodges, en suivant les différents avis sur le net. Je n'ai pas été déçu du tout, je dirais même que cette chambre d'hôte est d'un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Emplacement idéal, non loin de l'aéroport, et proche du centre de l'île, parfait pour rayonner un peu partout. Chambre propre, grand lit, et endroit très calme sur les hauteurs de Concorde. La vue sur la vallée au réveil est très agréable. Carina et Lester sont très gentils, mais surtout préparent d'excellents diners et de copieux petits-déjeuner, super pour démarrer une grosse journée en Dominique! Je recommande ce B&B qui ne paye pas de mine mais qui s'avère être un excellent choix!!
