“Fabulous hotel but a bit pricey”

Very trendy hotel. A bit too cool for me really. Lovely room, fabulous food and friendly helpful staff. Only complaint really was the constant music in all the public spaces, bars, restaurants etc... it seems that this hotel is aimed at the young, trendy and upwardly mobile. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would be very happy to stay again.

“Hip and trendy hotel with great service and amenities.”

The drinks were expensive, but the food in all the restaurants was excellent. I recommend using the city taxis instead of the hotel BMW for your transportation needs - big difference in price. Great place for couples and singles.

“"Fantastic - Just as we expect from a 5* Hotel"”

This hotel and it's staff are 5* without a doubt!! Everyone was extremely helpful and very friendly. The hotel is in a good central location, taxi's are not expensive so it is very easy to get around. The hotel booked golf for us, a desert safari and restaurant bookings, nothing was too much trouble. We have stayed in many 5* hotels that do not live up to this but 'W' Doha most certainly does. Thank you to all the staff ;-))

“Stunning”

- Faboulous 'designer' hotel. Truly uber cool. Especially at night time. - Used for business trip. Was greeted by two very friendly and smartly dresses staff at airport. - Limo was new. - Rooms look and feel like a mix between Bruce Wayne's penthouse and Darth Vader's honeymoon suite - Have rarely experienced staff so friendly even at other five star hotels - Great for business given various seating areas in and around lobby Downsides: - Construction going on on almost all sides of the hotel at present - Obstructed view of bay area (depending on your room) - Very expensive food service

“Hotel is next to 24-hour building site”

Hotel is fine, staff are friendly but the major building work going on all around is a major drawback. Noise continues all night and can be clearly heard in the bedrooms. Internal noise-proofing is also inadequate. I could hear every word the people in the next room were saying. My request for a non-smoking room was not respected and the room had a lingering stench of stale smoke which was transmitted to my jacket after three days in the wardrobe.
