“Grand Hotel”

“Probably the worst hotel in Doha. Don't use this place!”

At check-in (past midnight) my room hadn't been cleaned from the night before, so I was moved to another one. The new room had been made up but was terrible. The AC didn't work, so I had a very uncomfortable night, and was woken early by the pigeons nesting on the window ledge. I assume they were pigeons as I couldn't see through the window for droppings. The bathroom had bad water damage, and no shower curtain, making the floor dangerously slippy after use. The iron was dirty meaning my work shirt was now also dirty. Not the best start for a day's work, and definitely not four star. I didn't try the food, because if the guest rooms are so dirty I wouldn't want to see the kitchens. Best Western should be ashamed. This hotel is a disgrace.

Hotel confortevole posizionato vicino alla Corniche, al Museo delle arti Islamiche ed al Souk Wakif. Ottima l'accoglienza ed il servizio.

“Zentral und komfortabel”

Das Hotel liegt zentral in Nähe des Islamischen Museums und dem Souq Waqif. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel mit Wohn- und Schlafraum getrennt. Fernsehen, Teekocher, Internetanschluss vorhanden. In der Umgebung viele Baustellen, nachts aber ruhig. Was fehlt ist eine Bar. Insgesamt: gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
