Transiting back from Asia to Europe. Hotel now in center of a construction site, very dirty outside, pavements ripped up taxi cannot get close. Front desk probably would have been helpful if they had been given basic training, could not find booking reference. Dining room permanently closed. lobby dirty, landing filthy had buckets of water left over from previous days cleaning, had to ask for toilet paper and "a" towel. bed ok, walls had plaster showing through, in need to refurbishment/demolish, front desk could not call a taxi so i checked out a 2 am so as to be sure to get back to the airport for an early flight. No restaurants or conv stores nearby. Truly horrible not even usable as a stop over crash pad due to unreliability of find taxi. I will never overnight in Qatar again, avoid

I stayed over the weekend and had great time. The staff was friendly and courteus, the Hotel and room were very clean, and they have a great breakfast. I arranged for transport to and from the airport thru the hotel, and they were there on time.
The hotel has a swiming pool and spa on the roof with a great view of the city.

thought this was exceptional for the price - all looked very new and modern/stylish
would happily come back and stay for longer
really nice rooms and lots of facilities all for a very reasonable price
This hotel was very good. The breakfast was well prepared and not overly expensive, the room was clean, and it was very close to many attractions in Doha. The biggest complaint that I had was the mattress was extremely hard. Also, the toilet seat was slightly broken (it shifted when we sat). I would visit this hotel again due to the quality of the staff.
Warning! There are two "Seef" hotels in Doha. One is the "Al Seef" the other is "Doha Seef, Best Western" This hotel is the Al Seef. It has no pool.
It is a small and nice hotel with really friendly personnel. However it was disappointing and, I might say, dishonest in two important issues:
1. There is nor "secure parking" as advertised. The only parking space is the street in front of the building. And, if you are late, you have to park quite far. The neighborhood seems to be safe yet I would not take the risk for a rental car.
2. There is free WiFi in the rooms only you'd wish it worked. My business heavily depends on internet it cost me quite a bit to live with such a slooooww connection. If you need it, do not take your chances.
