“Friendly staff, wonderful views, huge rooms”

We have now stayed at Domaine de Divonne twice, and thoroughly enjoyed our stays both times. The staff speaks English and is very friendly and helpful. Each time, they accomodated our special requests (including early check-in) readily. During our recent stay, our room was extremely large with a comfortable bed, multiple closets, a large balcony with table complete with linen tablecloth, and an updated bathroom. Room service is excellent, and prompt. I highly recommend the Domaine de Divonne and hope to go back soon for a longer stay.

Very comfortable stay, rooms spacious and clean. The cost of the breakfast unless you want several courses is poor value - suggest a walk into village to the Tea Room nearby. Would stay again.

“BEST choice of more expensive Divonne hotels”

In Divonne travellers have the choice of two 4/5 star hotels, the Domaine mentioned here and the older Chateau de Divonne which is rather worn out and poorly maintained, charming but more of a 3 star due to neglectful maintenance. This is something common in France even with higher star establishments, making the Domaine even more rare as it is a true 5 star. While the Domaine is newer, it is beutiful, on lovely grounds with excellent, beautiful rooms, and vast public areas. It also has the advantage of being in the middle of Divonne, with easy access to the lovely village itself.

“Fabulous hotel”

Cannot fault the hotel or facilities but maybe a little far if you want the centre of Geneva.

“The best stay I have did”

It was great choice to stay in Divonne and in this lovely hotel.The town is just 15 minutes to Geneva lake. The hotel is so classic, cute and cool. The employees are so friendly with you. The room was with good facility and I highly recommand it with Balcony. The only disadvantage in this hotel was its left. It was so old and noisy little bit.

“A REPEAT VISITOR”

This is a reapeat stay for me. Each time has been very pleasant. This is an older redone hotel. Very charming. Staff very pleasant and helpful. I have always had a good sized redone room. I can only guess that there are smaller rooms perhaps not as recently redone but I do not know that for a fact. The town itself is not exciting, particularly off season but the hotel has great facilities, convienient to the airport, a nice bar for relaxing or snack and a wonderful restaurant. It also appears to have very good conference facilities.

“Excellent Short Break”

Excellent hotel, service by the staff was second to none. Only comment I would make is that it is extremely expensive nearly eight pounds for a pint of beer!

“A Very Classy , Historical Hotel”

The decor of the hotel is very unique and classy. The building is historical but well maintained. The hotel is surrounded by trees, greens and small rivers. Tourist Information Office is right next to the hotel building. It is a good choice to stay if you visit Geneva.

Everything was great except the pillows, which were hard and not comfortable.

“Magnificent!”

I booked this hotel for my wife and I because of it's closeness to Switzerland where we planned to travel for a couple of days. It was well priced and came as advertised. We had a wonderful view of Mont Blanc and everything from check in to check out was 5 star! The town of Divonne Les Bains is beautiful and after our stay when we headed to Paris we travelled over the Jura mountains which is at it's doorstep. As seasoned travellers (often booking through Expedia), we sometimes are pleasantly surprised with our hotel, this definately was one of the best!
