"Luxury within walking distance of Saigon central"
Stayed at this hotel in early April 2014 for 6 nights. Very comfortable hotel. Staff are very friendly & professional. the hotel was kept in very good condition. It is within easy walking distance to Saigon's main attractions(Cathedral, Post Office, Ben Than market, etc). Great buffet breakfast.
We had a river view room, which was quite intriguing, seeing the array of different vessels traveling up & down.
My only criticism is there was no separate shower in the room.............I don't like the shower in the bathtub scenario.
Saigon can be a bit daunting at first, but once you get accustomed to it, it is an amazing city.
We had a late departure flight out of Saigon, and the hotel offered a late check-out for 15% of the room cost, which is quite reasonable, I think. However, we did not need to take up this offer, as they allowed us to store out luggage whilst we did some last-minute shopping/sight-seeing, and then we were able to use the hotel's fitness club facilities to take a shower/freshen up before our flight.
I'd stay there again if I return to Saigon.
4* hotel - Upon arrival we were upgraded to the royal suite which gave panoramic views of the city and in front of the windows there was a free-standing jacuzzi bath with lights! Our room located on the 14th floor was 2 floors above the outside terraced swimming pool again with super views.
The hotel lobby was luxurious and customer laptops were provided.
Staff were courteous and friendly.
This hotel is well located in the centre of Saigon near the Ben Than market. It is close
to 2 excellent Chinese restaurants (moderate prices) and an inexpensive liquor store.
The guests are a mixture of Asian and European travellers of all ages.
We had a room on the 9th floor which gave us a wonderful view of the new financial
centre building, the tallest building in Saigon (worth a visit to the observation deck
$10 or $6.50 for Seniors).
The hotel Restaurant/Breakfast Room is on the 10th floor and has Impressive views
of the city below. We had dinner there and can recommend it for price and quality.
The Vietnam Government was hosting a foreign trade delegation there so I guess
that says something.
My husband had a wonderful stay at The Majestic. The staff were all polite and courteous and extremely helpful. Our room was perfect for our needs and more. We loved the space available to spread out and felt completely at home.
After driving from the airport through the traffic of Saigon we were greeted with a cool and refreshing drink at the Pulman. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help us and make us feel welcome, even to the point of helping us figure out a local taxi fare. Our safety was a great concern to them, as was our enjoyment during our stay. The staff at the Pulman is their greatest asset, one that will bring people back.

"Breakfast included- eat/drink as much as you want!"
This boutique hotel is situated right by Ben thanh market in district 1. Convenient for shopping and strolling into many local eateries. The staff welcomed us graciously with a poster celebrating our honeymoon! The breakfast staff weee friendly and worked hard in the heat to provide us with generous meals. I highly Recommend getting the executive king room comes with view- more comfy for 2 people, as the regular king is like a box. You'll see what I mean. Def would stay here again.
Breakfast was so nice. Service overall was superb, very attentive and friendly. Room service was delicious and fast even late at night. WiFi was awesome through hotel, very fast compared to WiFi in Australia. Rooms were large enough for our stay. Very clean. Liked the tub and view. Not all rooms have good views, but ours was perfect to watch the sun coming up over Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City.
We stayed here for two nights prior to joining our booked tour and felt totally spoilt. Firstly the service was impeccable nothing was too much bother for the staff. They always had a smile on their face and a warm greeting for us.
We booked a Residence Club Room. The room was roomy enough with king size bed, small lounge, mini bar and fridge and good bathroom with shower over bath. Both the room and bathroom were very clean, no dirt or mould. Fluffy white towels replaced daily and complimentary toiletries. They have a pillow menu if you find the pillows too soft, which I did, so I ordered a contoured pillow. The only downside was the mattress, which was a little on the hard side. Both the Club Lounge and our room had free Wifi.
Our room overlooked the city, so there was a little traffic noise, but nothing I could complain about and I am a light sleeper. If you see the traffic here you would understand that if you book a city hotel there will be some traffic noise, but the hotel is in a central location within walking distance to local markets and main attractions. Just watch out crossing the roads.
When you book a Club room you pay a little extra but it is worth it as you have the added bonus of access to the Residence Club Lounge. We made good use of this facility which included express checkin at the Club Lounge. They check you in and whilst you have something to eat and or drink they get your luggage to your room. You can visit the lounge any time between 6.30am - 11.
