Good stay for the money

Posted 30-Mar-2015
Pros: Breakfast was great for the kids.
Cons: The bathrooms are old.
Location: Close to Huntington Beach
The one thing I will say is that the bathrooms are still very old. Only thing about the rooms that look like they have not gotten around to remodeling.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good amenities. Nice pool and sport court. Nice breakfast with multiple hot items and fresh fruits--although very crowded at times. Rooms clean and modern with good space. Good restaurants nearby and a Target. Affordable shuttle to Disney. A very nice place for a family. Not fancy but very nice.

Convenient, Clean, Great spacious rooms. Awesome.

Posted 04-Mar-2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Close to grocery shops, restaurants and about a 25 minute walk to Disneyland.
Very pleasant staff who were always happy to help with all questions. Breakfast was great with a good variety every day. Room we had was spacious and to have a kitchen, dinning area with lounge room gave us the option to cook, prepare our own lunches or eat out. The facilities of a BBQ, pool, spa and laundry made the whole experience so much easier and better. Shuttle was $5 a day each but was very regular and you could use it as many times as you wanted during the day. Everywhere was always clean and tidy. Would recommend anyone we know to stay here.

Great for the family

Posted 03-Mar-2015
The staff was wonderful. The facilities where nice and clean. The hotel has a casual attitude and deals with the crowds well. It is a great place for the family. The best way to visit Disney is to take the shuttle or a taxi. Parking at Disney is a hassle. The breakfast saved our family time and money. We used the grocery service the hotel provides to pick us up a few cases of water. This saved us more time and money. Eating at Disney gets old and expensive so it was nice to have a good size kitchen area.

Great whanau (family) accommodation

Posted 09-Feb-2015
Pros: It was a home away from home and within walking distance of essential amenities.
Cons: On the downside the furniture was a little dated and items such as coffee, wash cloths etc were not always replaced at every clean.
Location: Refer above
We are a whanau (family) from Aotearoa (New Zealand), myself, sister, Mum (71), Nephew (17) and Niece (5). This accommodation offered 2 bedrooms (with 2 queens, 1 bunk, sofa bed) and a separate living area, 2 bathrooms, 3 TV's, full kitchen facility, free wifi, daily breakfast, basketball court, table tennis, kiddies and adult pool, spa pool, gym, kids games room, business room with an ATM machine and computers, a laundry facility AND a little shop. The main dining area allowed for interaction with other guests therefore being able to pick up tips for our trip. It is located within a 2 minute walk from Target (similar to The Warehouse and a Supermarket), restaurants, takeaways, chemist, clothing shops and more. It is on a main bus route therefore transport to/from theme parks was easy to navigate via Anaheim Resort Transport (ART) but if you find deals with transport included consider that. The staff were welcoming and willing to help with anything. Comparing other accommodations we were considering, they were either not within walking distance to dining or shopping amenities or were off the main transport route. We stayed for 18 days and with the age differences within our whanau it could have allowed for some bickering...instead...we were all able to find space within this accommodation to chill out. This hotel was perfect for our whanau and catered to all our needs and now that we are home we all agree we made the right choice.

Nice Hotel, very comfortable and clean.

Posted 02-Feb-2015
Pros: The fact that there was a self serve laundry and the continental breakfast.
Location: There's a handy Target and CVS Pharmacy close by. Also a few restaurants to eat at.
On the first day we decided to walk to Disney Land, but that was a good 30 minutes walk, luckily we had a car and decided to drive from then on. Parking at Disney land isn't that expensive (I think about $10 - $15), but worth it. At the hotel, the kids loved the spa bath and pool. The continental breakfast is very good and well worth it. There is a coin operated laundry which is very handy with about 7 machines, we never had to wait for one. We stayed is a family two bedroom room which is the only way to travel with kids. They had their own room and TV and same with us. There was also a separate living room and kitchen with a TV as well.

Decent accommodation

Posted 01-Feb-2015
Pros: Great staff, decent breakfast and good location. Very quite rooms-did not hear any noise from adjoining rooms or from above only minor hallway noise.
Cons: A heated pool ! No charge parking.A few minor touch ups required in some building locations (room/hallways) prevents me from giving this hotel 5 stars
Location: Close to Disneyland but a fair walk. Several resturants are close by.
Great two bedroom suite with kitchenette. Lots of space and the second bathroom was great. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Only real negative is the charge for parking.

Great hotel conveniently located to Disney

Posted 11-Jan-2015
I booked the 2 bedroom suite for our family of 6. It was just the space we needed. We would stay here again without hesitation. Pros- -Kitchen and living area for eating and hanging out. Bedroom are separated by the living area. - courteous and competent staff - reasonably clean rooms - movie room in lobby (pro...and con... Kids want to watch tv instead of going to Disney!!)' - breakfast included (Breakfast food is plentiful, there are many choices and they have a few new offerings each day. The quality is ok. But hey, its complimentary and convenient) - water and coffee available in lobby - evening snack included - bus service to Disney (reasonably priced, weekly pass available). This hotel is the first pick up to Disney and first drop off from Disney. You don't have to worry about the bus being too full to accommodate you. Minor complaints- -As with any hotel, the walls are thin - you can tell the rooms have seen many children. Some things are starting to look worn/slightly broken. But everything was functional. - not specifically hotel related but the sidewalks along Harbor Avenue are slippery when wet. Bonus - Within easy walking distance (i.e. 5 minutes or less) there is a Target, Outback Steakhouse, Red Robin, Joes's Crab Shack, Bucca di Beppo, and Joes Italian ice (pity we only found this place on our last night. Delicious!!!!) Also Starbucks, Walgreens and Coco's within a 5 minute walk.
