“Dillsboro Stay”

I was very leary after our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Harrisburg, Virginia. I had already booked the hotel room so I did not want to be charged but after we arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel not only smelled clean but was clean and our room was very clean as well. The people that worked there were courteous and professional and made us feel very welcome.

“Convenient, restful, good food”

We were there 2 nights for the Scots Festival in nearby Franklin. It was an ideal location, about 15 minutes' drive. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We got wonderful service from Zack at the front desk especially & the breakfast hostess, Becky. It was a very pleasant stay except for a few things: we had a King Suite which has no division within the room for a sitting area as we had expected. It was just one large room. The second thing was that the chair and ottoman in the room were dirty & stained. They badly needed recovering. A couple of the overhead lights in the room flickered when first turned on and one of the patio umbrellas had a large rip. Everything else was sparkling clean and attractive. The bed was very nice, just right, and the range of pillows was great. It was very quiet. The room jacuzzi was extra large which we've never seen before. That was great. The swimming pool was nice and the pool area was spotless. The continental breakfast was extensive and delicious & the staff there was perfect; friendly and obliging but not bothersome. We thought the room rate was a little expensive but we enjoyed it overall & would probably stay again if in the area.

“Convient to my daughter's college, just needs more signage, difficulty to find at night.”

This is anewly refurbished Holiday Inn Express. Very nice. THe breakfast bar was excellent, the staff was very dedicated that myself and daughter were well taken care of. We arrived during the night and the signage wasn't lighted, making it difficult to get to teh actauly hotel site. It sites in the SMokey mts and is simply a georgous site.

pretty good stay overall. did not get time to enjoy the swimming pool. the hot breakfast was ok. room is clean

“Good for the price”

Great location and easy to get in and out of from highway. Pleasant staff. Mattress a bit old...could feel springs. Very busy at breakfast but could have been time we choose to eat and crowd at hotel since it was Labor Day weekend. Would book again. Good price.

“Don't expect to get any sleep here.”

The bed was very uncomfortable. I woke up tired after tossing and turning all night and had back pain that lasted all day.
