The hotel is currently hampered in terms of access by the disruption caused by the tram building project in Dijon. The street may only be accesses by a hairpin right turn across traffic. Once we arrived, the hotel was excellent; extremely clean, with safe parking. The en-suite bathroom was pristine with a first-rate shower. Don't take a room at the front if passing traffic affects you. We slept well and breakfast was ample with excellent coffee and croissants. The owners and staff have little English, so brush up on your French before staying here. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. 10 minutes walk to the city centre, with excellent cafes and restaurants on every corner. Closer to the hotel is a good Chinese restaurant, just up the street and round the corner.

Old hotel fairly close to the old centre of Dijon. Very comfortable decor. Bathrooms were great and bedrooms very comfortable. The only drawback was the sloping roof and the beams which came down quite low, so it was easy to knock your head on the beams. Apart from that, enjoyable stay. Can recommend.

"Excellent location in heart of historic district."
Breakfast good - recommend it for 7 euros extra per person. Be aware that the cheapest rooms are up a very steep attic type staircase not suitable for elderly people. We were not aware of this and when the receptionist noted my age she very kindly put me in a room on the 2nd level at no extra cost. Do not know if there is any way of warning customers. We were fortunate that even though it was a holiday weekend there were rooms vacant on the 2nd floor. There is no parking at the hotel but as promised there is a car park in the next street for 6 euros for 24 hours. Dijon is a delight.L

The hotel was exactly what we wanted - a family room for 5 people..... it was lovely, clean and cheap, very near the town centre.... it was perfect for a stop off on our way to Switzerland... the hotel staff were very polite and helpful...

This hotel was absolutely satisfactory. Location is very convenient, 10 minutes brisk walk from the rail station, and about the same from the town centre. In a quiet area.
The staff were helpful. My room had recently been renovated, and was very pleasant and kept spotlessly clean.
Basic continental breakfast.
I would recommend this hotel.

I had a four-night stay at Hotel des Ducs, and would recommend it to anyone travelling through Dijon. It is very convenient to the beautiful center of town, a short walk to the tram, and close to many fine restaurants. A great find.

This hotel is 2km away from the centre of Dijon, and it is located in a busy boulevard. My husband and I had troubles finding the place, but with help from the Dijon Tourist Office, We managed to find it. This hotel is simple, clean and tidy. It has all the basic amenities to have a peaceful stay. The room where we stayed was big enough for two people and was located facing the busy boulevard, but once we closed the big windows, the noise was gone.
Dijon is a great place to visit. We went there at the end of April, so we had the entire Medieval town for ourselves, as there were not to many tourists around. In general, we had a nice stay at this hotel and a great time in Dijon.

Staff were extremely nice and helpful, but this place is dingy, smokey, and wildly inconvenient if you're not driving. It's fine for the price, but I wouldn't stay here if you're doing anything other than stopping for the night. It's a 20e cab ride from the train station, and there's nothing nearby.
