“A bit dated but very clean and we will return”

Like many city centre hotels the rooms are quite small and in this hotel there is an unusual arrangement of a small toilet room plus a larger bathroom. The room and bathroom were very clean although they are overdue for refurbishment. Dijon can get very hot and despite the 33deg temperature outside our room was very comfortable thanks to the air conditioning. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Dijon.

“a nostalgic break in medieval location”

Just back from a 4 nights stay with breakfast included, My wife and I liked the quiet location in the old part of Dijon and had a good room on first floor overlooking the garden area; the minor criticism was lack of drawers for garments but otherwise good standard of decoration. Breakfast, French style, was of high standard with a wide range of food with prompt and friendly service; in the basement but this is quite usual for France. Reception staff were helpful, courteous and very friendly - making sure that we had full directions to get Sunday evening meal; English spoken. We did not use the restaurant as we found better priced menus a short walk away but there was no pressure to use their facility. It is a perfect location for exploring the old city and has a free navette bus stop outside if one does not want to walk too far. We would certainly stay there again and use Expedia for making a booking

“Djion”

very impressed wtih hotel, we paid an extra 10 euro and had a superior room, definately reccomend it, room was a good size, well furnished and clean, did not eat breakfast as was expensive at 13 euros. great hotel for the 3 stars!

“Impersonal, noisy street, but excellent breakfast and good bathroom”

The lobby of this hotel is separate from the entrance to the lift and rooms so the guest hardly ever sees the hotel staff. It felt very impersonal. The breakfast is expensive but delicious, good quality food. The furnishings and construction are pleasant and good quality but the walls need a fresh coat of paint and the carpet needs a good clean. It didn't seem to be vacuumed during my 3 day stay. The rue Sainte Anne is by the town's central parking. It takes quite a bit of traffic and can be noisy.
